This release has been anticipated by Camel fans for quite awhile...

Unfortunately, I ordered this directly thru 3ears, and even though my credit has been charged in August 2005, the people there have been consistently ignoring all requests for information.

As of this writing, the item has yet to see the light of day.

Truly disappointing, and simply an un-ethical business practice to take advantage of consumers.

Mirage Afterlive is a re-release of the original now deleted Mirage - "Live December 1994" double CD, featuring Camel - Caravan and Pete Bardens solo material played live by many members and ex-members of Camel and Caravan.

After 9 years it has now been digitally transferred from the original tapes, restored and remixed to reflect how the show really sounded at the Manchester Apollo on that cold night in December 1994.

With technological advances over the years it has now been possible to produce a genuinely dynamic mix and a truly enjoyable product.

As a tribute to Pete Bardens a friend and gentleman to the end of his remarkable life, the album includes bonus material both audio and visual for the enjoyment of his fans worldwide.

This release is: 3 Audio CDs plus 1 DVD.

Disc 1 and 2: The Original Manchester Apollo Live Show - completely re-worked.
Disc 3: Live Bonus Material 1994 - 1997.
Disc 4: DVD of the only live video material around 1996 - 1997 from shows in Europe and USA.

It is tastefully packaged in full colour and packed with Photos - Notes and a Complete Biography of Mirage and Pete Bardens Mirage, co-written with Jon Kirkman.

Mirage Afterlive represents the last live shows Pete Bardens performed in his remarkable life and as such is a true rare collector's edition.
