Product Description
Japanese Version of Hall and Oats, Hit the Charts Again!
Though they was active at the beginning of 1980' already, the main big cd hits were the beginning of 1990`. Their songs was used in Japanese TV drama mainly. In Japan at beginning 1990', dramas was great boom, that is, called [Trendy Drama Boom]. Chage&Aska' songs were used in such dramas mainly. Off course it was natural that their songs were big hits. Such mixing selling of dramas and artists was called[Tie Up Effect] by the words of commercial worlds.
In Japan, Japanese tend to think Chage&Aska as just a big sales artist. The reason was for what the true great sound makings tend to be forgotten because of their incredible big cd sales.
In fact, there are a lot of great songs in this cd. Off course this cd is the best selection cd over 20 years. The songs is the one that were selected seriousely. For instance, if I show the great songs concretly,[Banri No Kawa] is that. The songs was used at about 1980, therefore the song style is a little folk and accoustic, but for such style I can feel the sentimentalism, great song. Next, [Morning Moon] is that. This song was used at about 1985. In those day, Japanese music scene had the tendancy of digital sounds. This song use the great effect of the digital sounds that was boom in the middle of 1980'.
I can not say about all the great songs of Chage&Aska because the songs is too much.
But I can say about the greaty thing of their songs in easy words. That is the great harmony that they sing with together.
Thank you for reading poor writing.
