I purchased this Britney CD recently because I'd somehow lost my Britney collection over the years due to loaning them out and household moves. I really like this CD, especially the song "Everytime." I can't wait for Britney's 5th album to come out later this year.

Sure,this cover can say she looks good and trying to look hot.She's trying so hard to give off an image that's not her.She's being and mostly acts like a tramp.Have you seen her videos?

Brintey can not break out of her shell and between the rebelious and outrageous lyrics,I see a sad girl being consumed by the media.Sure,she laughs and she looks as if she is having a good time on her videos but come on!Briney hides behind her clothes and lyrics and her record deal.It's all tenn pop lyrics penned down on her notepad while she's waiting in line!

I am dissapointed and I hope she writes better songs but from the heart,go Britney!Britney rock on please!!

Its a cool album all the songs are very catchy it is way better then the baby one more time album and the opps album and its more mature then the britney album i can listen to this more then any aaliyah album. britney this is your best cd!!!!!

I'm In The Zone With Britney.......2007-07-14

In The Zone is the 4th album by Ms. Spears and it is her best yet. You can tell Britney has really grown up and is sounding better than ever and more mature. This Australian Edition is the best because it comes with two bonus songs. They are The Answer and Don't Hang Up. They are worth the extra price because they are very great songs. So don't dwell, go pick this CD up today. I promise you won't regret it.

Good...for Pop?.......2005-08-26

Definitely Britney's most mature and least pop album to date. I agree with another reviewer regarding the Kylie/Madonna-ray-of-light feel to this album (at least to a lot of its songs)...Breathe on Me for one. Great dance album (Toxic, Me Against the Music), some more "urban" tracks, Hookup, for one. Overall pretty good music, catchy and fun, not a lot of depth (but who was expecting depth from a Britney Spears album?). A couple of disappointing songs--Brave New Girl and Touch of My Hand (besides its "mature" theme, the melody/lyrics weren't that great either).

The Best Britney's Album so Far.......2005-06-13

Being Madonna's fan, i kinda liked britney. In fact, i have all her previous albums but i often listen to them. When the "In The Zone" album was out back in 2003 with its 1st Single Me Against the Music, I was impressed. Then Toxic was released and I So Loved it.

After watching all her TV specials, performances and the Onyx Hotel Tour (which is her best tour ever!), i definetely had to buy this album.

When i got it, i was like wooow, this is her best material so far, Its very fresh, has a lot of different music styles and its sound very mature (despite some lyrics).

Breathe On Me was going to be released as a single (and video), cause its the best song from the album and it would've been such a huge hit but it was Cancelled due to Catwoman movie who wanted Outrageous (which it all was screwed).

This is my personal review on the songs:

Me Against the Music - 5/5 (with the Queen of Pop Madonna)

Boom Boom - 4/5 (very hip.hopish and catchy)

Showdown - 4/5 (sexy, misteriously)

Breathe On Me - 6/5 (i think there's no words to express this awesome dance track that puts u in a sexual dance floor)
Early Mornin' - 3/5 (Moby Collaboration, pretty nice)

Toxic - 5/5 (awesome dance track and amazing strings, cant get that song from ur mind)

Outrageous - 5/5 (a great hip hop track produced by R. kelly)

Touch of My Hand - 4/5 (beautiful far east alike song about self loving)

Shadow - 2/5 (gorgeous ballad, but not my favorite)

The Hook Up - 5/5 (hot and warm track, makes u wanna dance)

Brave New Girl - 3/5 (very goofy Barbie song, but good to have some fun)

Everytime - 5/5 (Amazing stunning ballad about love breaking, 100% recommended - Shame they changed the original concept of the video [britney's suicide])

Me Against the Music Remix - 5/5 (a hot dance remix, Hindu style]


Bonus tracks: If u gonna buy the album, be sure u have at least the 1st bonus track which is amaaaaaaaaazing.

The Answer - 6/5 (awesome Im a Slave alike mid-slow track, very impressive, shame it wasnt included in the standard tracklisting)

Don't Hang Up - 3/5 (not my fav, but its pretty cool).


After listening this album, i almost totally forgot about her previous albums (except Britney: Im a Slave 4 U & Boys). But its a shame how this album ended, the best tracks that was going to be furthcoming hit singles, were cancelled. So the ITZ based tour "Onyx Hotel".

I recommend it 200%.

I Wanna Get In The Zone with Britney.......2005-03-07

In The Zone, Britney's fourth studio album is with a doubt her best album. Praised by the majority of critics and fans alike, In The Zone has a more sensual and grown-up feel. Some may say it's "overtly sexual," but I think it just shows Britney growth process and her exploring her sexuality. Some songs do push the envelope but I think she does it in a tasteful way. Madonna was far more blatant and sexually (I still love her too though!). In fact, I would go as far as say that Britney's "sexual" tracks are the more musically astounding tracks (such as Touch of My Hand and Breathe one Me). I would recommend In The Zone to anyone who is into Pop music, although it's evident that Britney tried to explore different kinds of genres. The Bonus tracks are also worthwhile too.

I've never really liked Britney that much. But the main reason I know of this song, is watching something about Brit on MTV, where MATM video was played.

This album is her best yet. Her previous album (Britney) was also very good.

This is a good package deal. The Cd's really speak for themselves. You either are a fan or not. I already own her greatest hits so I was reluctant to buy either of these Cd's seperately. This package deal is worth it because there are some songs that you get here that are not on the GH collection.

Even if you hate Britney, you might like this!!.......2007-01-31

Take it from someone who's really not a huge Britney fan. In fact, I've bashed her many times, lol. But this CD is actually REALLY good. She experiments with electronica, synth and dance, and it actually fits her like a glove. It's different than the pop fluff that she usually does.

STAND-OUT TRACKS:

TOXIC - I have to admit this is one of the best pop sngs ever recorded. The beat is so cathy and it sounded different than anything else on the radio. Like her or not, you have to admit that "Toxic" is fantastic.

EVERYTIME - Yes, Britney actually has a ncie sounding ballad. Her voice isn't spectacular, but the synth piano, strigs and subtle percussion create a haunting masterpiece. This song actually gives me goosebumps. One of the best ballads I've ever heard (seriously).

BRAVE NEW GIRL - This song sounds very similar to Imani Capolla's "Legend of a Cowgirl". It alsohas elements of Madonna's "Material Girl", and Talk Talk/no Doubt's "It's my Life". Nevertheless, her voice sounds kind of cool because the engineer made it sound electronic (a la Cher) at some parts. Overall, a gret an fundance song.

SHADOW - Another great ballad. I was produced by the atirx, so it does sound a little Avril-ish. But there are a lot of synth sound effects which give it a futuristic feel. Definetely a good listen.

SHOWDOWN - This iskind of a mid-tempo pop song that sounds very unique. It's very catchy, and it has a lot of dance/analog elements in it. THe guitars make the song what it is in my opinion.

Other good songs include "Me Against the Music" [Rishi Rich's Desi Kulcha Remix] featuring Madonna (Better than the original IMO), "(I Got that) Boom Boom" featuring the Ying Yang Twins, and "Breath On Me".

Honestly, I'm tellnig the truth about this CD. Britney caught me off guard because this album is actually great. She is defientely "in her zon", because this type of music suits her and her voice. I really recommend you check this CD out, even if you don't like Britney.

Britney Spears - In The Zone (Dual Disc).......2005-11-16

Ok, I got this dual disc about a week ago and I find it sortof ok! The dvd audio 5.1 is much better sound quality so, I would advice you to get that but for a collectors item like myself then its well worth it. The menus are pretty hip and stylish which is a good postive thing. You get 2 music videos on the dual disc. Which is good to look back over but the greatest hits dvd/cd is out so all the hits are on it.

Buy it if you can't find the dvd-audio or buy it if you want/need it as a collectors item but don't buy it if you just want a dual disc ;)!

Reminds me of an 80's workout video!.......2004-09-09

To tell you the absolute truth, I love Britney Spears, but this would have to be the worst song I've heard yet. The song just annoys me for some reason. It portrays her as this lonely girl trying to fight the music industry, which she pretty much almost owns herself anyway, but I just hate the whole aspect of the song and video. The song seems thrown together, so to speak, and the video didn't really portray the song as most of her videos do. The song also got very old fast, even though it wasn't even overplayed! The minute it starts, I cringe because of how terrible I think it is. It reminds me of an 80's workout video! Madonna portrays the oppisite of Britney as they play a cat and mouse game around the dirty night club, that viewers may not understand. They also throw out a little implied lesbianism, which I'm sure no one has complained about. The "posse" she is dancing with is really quite good, but then there's Madonna who is rolling around bed frames and grinding walls with what looks to be some kind of Yoga moves, or maybe it's some kind of "Kabbalah" ritual. Finally, Britney pins Madonna against the wall to kiss her, and she disappears with laughter. I don't know what it is about this song, but I just can't stand it. I think the whole album, "In the Zone" is great,except for the "Me Against the Music" song and its remix which is #13 ~ why do we need to hear two versions of me against the music? I think one is quite enough, but who am I to talk, since I am just a simple-minded review writer here. I'm sure there is a handful of wonderful people out there who love the song, and I pity you all. Did I mention that I hate the song>?

I'm sorry to say this, but I LIKE THIS RECORD!!!.......2005-09-23

As the title itself says, I'm extremely ashamed to admit this but I like this album. I think Britney's song composers have improved a lot. Or better, she made the only right decision she ever made to change composers, and here's the result: a very cool and enjoyable cd!! She's very clever, she knows what's fashion...she turned her pop and catchy music into hip hop one, with new beats. I personally find that in this collection even her voice has got a little little little bit better!! Thanx to the back vocals and to the fact that she doesn't sing so much, she "raps", she talks. Better for the listener!! ;0) Well ,my fav songs are Me Against The Music, Outrageous, Brave New Girl (okay this is the most silly song in the whole cd but I can't help it, it was the first one to capture me when I had my first listen) and Breathe On Me, while I really don't like The Hook Up and Early Mornin'. I didn't like very much the single Everytime, too banal. I have the copy with only one bonus track, The Answer. Very cool but it looks like Slave 4 U, like someone else has said before. I've heard also Don't Hang Up and it's a really good song, a bit weird for Britney's standards. Pity that these 2 songs weren't in the "official" tracklist!! I think this is the best album by Britney, and I have to say that although I hate her and her commercial music. If u absolutely wanna buy something of her, then buy this, it's worthy!!! :0)
