I have enjoyed the music of The Barnes Family ever since I discovered them by accident on 'free' music site.
Since that time, I have bought 14 different albums by the dad, FC Bares, and his son, Luther. Wonderfully spiritual music that is not heard often anymore.

The Last Years of the Late Steve Marriott's Career Has Been Somewhat Obscured by History for his Fans. He Had Reformed Humble Pie for the Third Time in the Early 80s, Lived in Atlanta, Georgia and Recruited Local Musicians for Personnel. Those in the Know Claim that this was the Best Humble Pie Line Up Ever. The Group Recorded an Album at the Pyramid Eye Studio in Tennessee During 1982-83, but Due to Local Politics was Never Released. This Double CD Set Presents this Long Lost Album for the First Time. Disc One Includes the Complete Set of Previously Unreleased Studio Recordings, While Disc Two Has a Previously Unreleased Live Concert Recorded in Ohio, 1983 as Well as an Exclusive Audio Interview with Marriott's Widow Pam. Includes a 16-page Booklet with Extensive Liner Notes Written by Bill Hibbler (Marriott's Tour Manager) and John Hellier of the Official Small Faces Fan Club. The Final Audio Chapter in the Remarkable Life of this Cherished Rocker Completes his History.

if you really like live humble pie, you'll probably really like this. the 3 other guys playing with steve do a good job; i was actually surprised. the sound itself is sorta...crude, i guess, but it's what you would expect in a saloon(which is where this was recorded), and the sound is not muffled, weak, etc. - i'd put it in the catagory of a very well done bootleg. the whole cd has a ruckus, drunkin' good time rock and roll feel to it. one of the songs is nicely done, straight-out blues. this cd is perfect with an excellent sound system turned up loud and about a 6 pack of beer.
