1997 collection featuring 26 early recordings from 1953-1954by the rock 'n' roll great, including many previously unreleased tracks. Ranging from country to rockabilly, it contains vocal cuts and instrumentals alike. Chuck Foreman plays steel guitar on a dozen of the tracks, Hank Cochran plays on many others. Also includes a 14 page booklet with many previously unissued photos. Includes 'Rockin' It', 'Tenderly' and 'Stardust'. A Rockstar Records release.

Anyone that is a fan of Eddie's playing or singing will love this album. It's really neat to hear Eddie trying to "find" his voice. His playing is better on this cd than most of his others. You also have to remeber that at the time these recordings were made he wasn't much older than 15. He pulls off a great Chet Atkins on poor people of paris. This is a must have for any Cochran fan. If you're not into Eddie, You can also listen to Chuck Foreman's great steel guitar. Together these two were doing some amazing things with recording. Les Paul could be put to shame by these recordings. Everthing he did as an adult, these two were doing as teenagers.

I enjoyed the rockin' songs here. Would like to hear ALL the songs on the album. Great piano. Would recommend this CD to friends who appreciate good rockabilly.

having listened to this cd and played it on my radio shows i found my self singing along to the songs it the best rockabilly cd i've heard in a long time the votes for it on my radio show as best new cd are huge it could even make entertainer/cd of the millenium. have been out standing. it's a winner i'm sure. it will be a huge success so please buy it now.

I found this album to be pleasantly surpising at every turn. The creative talents of this band continually amazed me. The careful blending of rock, roots, jazz, blues, and R & B combined become an extrordinary compendium of feeling and soul. This is definately a keeper. Can't wait for the next one.
