About the Artist
Guitarist,Vocalist Joe Wheeler first hit the South Florida music scene in 1992, with his national Jimi Hendrix tribute band Electric Ladyland, Playing the Hendrix tunes as well as Jimi himself garned Wheeler international attention. In 1993 Wheeler toured and performed with legendary Jimi Hendrix Band of Gypsies drummer Buddy Miles.In 1995 Joe released a self titled three song ep that was very successfull.Joe Wheeler keeps going strong with many gigs and studio sessions under his belt. Now in 2004, Joe Wheeler has released his new cd "Hourglass of Time". Experience Wheeler,s cover of the classic Jimi Hendrix smash hit, "Purple Haze" And then hold on for the ride through the "Hourglass of Time".
