Healthy White Baby, named after a line in Raising Arizona, is Laurie Stirratt and Danny Black's new band. Stirratt previously played in Blue Mountain and has released an album with her twin brother, John Stirratt (Wilco). Danny Black was the lead in Bloodshoot Record's The Blacks. With this new band they are joined by drummer, Ryan Juravic. The three play blues-oriented rock music, inspired by the sounds and simplicity of Skip James, The Faces, Otis Redding, CCR and the Velvet Underground.
