Album Description
AS HOPE DIES have thrived since the release of their debut EP, Birth Place and Burial Site. Their newest offering, Legions Bow To A Faceless God, is a nine track towering trip through total devastation. More focused and mature than ever before, this album is a sincere outpouring of total emotion. It begs for total attention from willing and focused ears, and unlike its contemporaries, its bludgeoning song writing and crushing hooks are mind numbing. Beyond a shadow of a doubt, AS HOPE DIES' debut fulllength from UNDECIDED RECORDS is aruly awe-inspiring masterpiece.

Legions Bow To a Faceless God.......2006-11-27
As Hope Dies stumbles into the ground w/ this release. Personally, I'd never heard of the band before I'd seen them here. After reading the reviews, I decided to give them a shot. Good production, good artwork, decent lyrics, but no originality musicwise. To me, they sound like a knockoff of Darkest Hour or As I Lay Dying, which in fact, play this genre of music w/ more originality. The lack of deviation in songwriting formula is what buries this CD in mediocrity. If that is what you're looking for in your music, you'll definitely find it here.
A MILLION THUMBS UP.......2005-08-24
If you like hardcore, thrash or just fast stuff, welcome to your new favorite band. The band has been through some break ups but here they are with this. All the musicians are incrediable and peice together music better than i have ever heard before. Good rifts, drum beats, and good melodies at the right spot and it doesnt kill the hardcore style. Cant foret if you like screamers this vocalist is the vocalistis the best that has ever lived. Very powerful voice and very deep lyrics.Changes his style of screaming when least expected. This is by far the most powerful band i have ever heard. They have no bad songs at all. They are my favorite band. They have another ep out but good luck finding i got mine from there drummer.
oh yeah.......2004-09-16
ok first of all the name of the band is 'As Hope Dies' not Hope Dies its even on their labels website. http://www.undecidedrecords.com/bands/ahd.php I've listened to these guys since their debut EP entitled 'Birthplace & Burial Site' they got back together and followed their EP up with another masterpiece. 'Legions Bow...' is beyond description they said they wanted more melody which they accomplished but did not sacrifice their brutal tones in any way if anything this cd is heavier then their debut. This cd is so powerfully driven by these musicians it is unstoppable it may not be the longest cd but it is an epic in its own right. The level of intensity this album brings is insane the music is beautifully raw giving it a true personal feel.
