Dick Campbell was a part of the legendary Gary Usher/Curt Boettcher circle & this release contains backing by The Butterfield Blues Band with Mike Bloomfield, as on the classic Dylan early electric albums, Peter Cetera, later of Chicago & members of The Buckinghams. A classic of early electric folk rock, a must for Dylan fans, Garage Punk enthusiasts, & lovers of the Boettcher/Usher/Millennium world alike! 16 tracks including four bonus tracks, 'Window World', 'Peace On Earth', 'Sometimes' & 'The World'. FYI Butterfield and Bloomfield do NOT appear on this CD. They DO appear on the Dick Campbell LP/CD "Sings Where It's At."

I have been waiting for this cd a long time........2003-07-05

Ever since the 70's I have been a fan of Dick Campbell. His album Dick Campbell Sings Where It's At just blew me away, and this album, if possible, is even better. I bought several copies to give to my friends. If us fans of great music and magical lyrics are lucky, then they will realease more Dick Campbell material on cd. Remember, music legends never die as long as their music still touches our hearts.

The artist is incredible in the way he turns his words and emotions into song. I highly recommend this album to anyone who wants to listen to intelligently written lyrics and entertaining music.

This cd is a never before heard hidden treasure from the early 70's. Songs cowritten by Dick Campbell and the great Gary Usher. Including bonus tracks co written with Steve Hoffman of lancelot link secret chimp fame and Keypashine Golesorkhi. Dick Campbell's singing is fantastic with all the writers singing back up and or playing instruments on some tracks.
A must have for any music collectors, Dick campbell fans, Gary Usher Fans, Lance Link Fans, or any music lover into good harmony and good music.
This CD is in the same style of the fantastic Dick Campbell\Gary Usher Beyond The Shadow Of Doubt cd.
A fitting tribute to the great singer/sonwriter/publisher Dick Campbell who passed away in 2002.

Dick Campbell with another Sonic Past Music rediscovery! The enigmatic Dick Campbell... singer, songwriter, producer and one of the most famous humorists in the 1960s music business. It's sometimes difficult to tell whether he means something seriously or not. The quality of the music remains the same as ever... outstanding! Dick had never had any intention of being a folk rocker, The Beach Boys and The Four Seasons being more his thing, but the idea of making a record with these outstanding musicians AND getting paid was too much to turn down! Dick would go on to produce many classic mid-west garage bands, and write and record the amazing fairy tale album Beyond A Shadow Of A Doubt with Gary Usher and Curt Boettcher, as well as be publishing A&R for Harry Nillson and Paul Williams AND writing songs for the Cowsills to boot! The name of the late Dick Campbell (1944-2002) has been very famous and popular; especially he became rather famous for several albums as a result of his collaboration with Gary Usher; as well as a composer.. However, the materials Dick Campbell left on Mercury in 1965 has also been famous in a different point of view. (Dick Campbell's own words, taken from the web site by Dick's son Mr. Gary Campbell with his permission) "... I had written a couple of "Dylan-esque" songs which Mercury liked. Columbia had Dylan and Mercury didn't. They asked me to write ten more, Come back in two weeks, and make an album. So I did and this is it...
