Album I keep coming back to.......2005-11-24

This is an amazing album - it's varied, incredibly listenable but intensely urgent at times. The songwriting is complex and original. David is an excellent find and a true talent that's still a well-kept secret in north america (see Ane Brun too). I don't know another solo rocker/songwriter that interests me as much - perhaps a younger, more urgent, less strung-out mark lanegan crossed with some music sensabilities from a jimmy eat world-like pop band.

I'll be blunt: I haven't actually heard this album yet. But I do know that David drummed for Refused and, following that career into his work in Text and then his first solo album, om det inte händer nåt innan imorgon så kommer jag (try saying that five times fast...actually, try pronouncing that once, at all), then this promises to be great. What I'm trying to say is, if it's anything like anything he's done before, it's bound to be awesome.
Except I heard that this isn't anything like anything he's done before. Even better.
