Album Details

Ffa Coffi Pawb were a Special Part of the Welsh Language Underground Music Scene in the Late Eighties/Early Nineties. In Time, Vocalist and Guitarist Gruff Rhys and Drummer Dafydd Ieuan Went on to Form Super Furry Animals. Later, Guitarist Rhodri Puw Would Join Gorky's Zygotic Mynci and also Records as Psycho Vii. This Compilation Gathers Tracks from Between 1986 - 1992 from all Sorts of Sources ( Although Latterly, the Band Released Three Albums Through the Ankst Label , Most of These Tracks Appear Here on CD for the First Time). The Super Furry Animals have a Rabid Fanbase and Will Be Out Looking for this Record.

The American re-issue's a better buy.......2005-07-14

This version lacks a bonus track on the U.S. version, and the English translations and commentary by Gruff Rhys that also accompany the American reissue. Unless you read Welsh, and more power to you that do, opt for the English-augmented supplements; the Welsh lyrics deserve to gain their widest audience, even if it's in the tongue of the true "foreigner" in Cymry.
