5 out of 5 stars mind blowing.......2007-07-09

The band Girl In A Coma is fantastic.I love every song on this cd.There isn't one song not to love they are just so great. I love these girls they are one of my top favorite bands. They have they're own sound and they know who they are. Nina has one of the most unbeleivable voices I've ever heard.

5 out of 5 stars One of the most original albums I've heard in a long time!!!.......2007-05-15

For those of you unfamiliar with Girl In A Coma, do yourself a favor. Buy this album and get acquainted. This three piece powerhouse out of San Antonio is one of the most original new acts to come out in a long time. Singer Nina Diaz has been described as the female version of Morissey. I definitely hear the resemblance, but I would throw in a little of Kurt Cobain as well. Her soaring vocals, blistering guitar work and intelligent lyrics form the heart of this band. Big sister Phanie pounds the skins like a madwoman and Jenn Alva fills out the lower registers on the Bass guitar. Having had the pleasure to catch these girls live in San Antonio several times, as well as catching a show in March in Chicago where they opened for the Pogues, I can honestly say I've been blown away by their performances. They recently caught the attention of Joan Jett while playing in New York and that led to their signing a deal with Blackheart Records. Hopefully, they will get the promotion they deserve and this album will get a lot of airplay. All you need to do is listen to the first three tracks and you will be hooked! So again, do yourself a favor and check out the CD. And if these girls happen to be playing anywhere in your vicinity, get up off the couch and head to the show. You will NOT be disappointed.

5 out of 5 stars Underrated (& unknown) classic.......2007-03-17

Truly: Seattle trio, influenced by the Sonics, Black Sabbath, Velvet Underground, Jim Carroll and the Doors. Some audible similarities to Soundgarden, and a few have mentioned Kyuss as well, but I don't particularly hear it, although I love Kyuss. Loads of mellotron, thick-as-molasses guitars, 70+ minutes of mind-altering psychedelic grunge/proto-metal. Personal highlight is track 10, an incredible tune called "Virtually," where singer/lyricist Robert Roth states

"I have the power to wish you away/I have the power to wish you to stay/Sometimes I have the power to make wishes come true/The starlight knows it if I'm wishing for you

Virtual, virtually

Now your emotions choking you/Now your oceans capsized thee/Love is a holograph till you cry/Feels like the moon shaking in the sky/Twin suns shining on the planets around/Come call the rain that makes the lovers drown."

Fabulous music, great lyrics, and it deserves to be heard.

5 out of 5 stars Tragic Telepathic (Soul Slasher).......2006-09-19

Incredible album. I always enjoyed listening to it with Kyuss's WELCOME TO SKY VALLEY and Love Battery's FAR GONE. I am over the age of 13.

5 out of 5 stars The Most Ignored Grunge Masterpiece.......2005-07-26

Well... it's not exactly Grunge, but this band includes Hiro Yamamamoto (ex-Soundgarden), Marck Pickerell (ex-Screaming Trees) and a talented guy called Robert Roth on vocals and guitars.
The album is an intense sonic experience. It is dark, but catchy. Sometimes it sounds like a Grunge version of The Doors, but only soimetimes, because the album is full of long incredibly accomplished passages that are very unlikely to be achieved on a debut full length album.
Truly is one of those bands that you might be lucky to find, but certainly won't hear much about. Nevertheless, the critics acclaimed the album and it ended on several "best albums of the year" lists.

5 out of 5 stars Heavy Psychedelic Riffage.......2004-01-09

This was one of the albums I bought when grunge still had some aftershock on my young brain. Then later, when I got into punk and thrash metal I tossed this out along with my some of my Nirvana, Mudhoney and other assorted 'Seattle Grunge' albums. I picked this up again after hearing it at a school bro's house and the next day picked it up at a used CD store. Thank God it was easy to find a copy of this.
These days I've been really getting into the newer bands that emulate a 70's classic rock feel. Some of those bands are Queens of the Stone Age, Unida, Drunk Horse, Goatsnake, etc. I think that these guys really have an awesome sound that differs from any of these aforementioned bands. Roth plays his guitar through some loud low bottom amps. The sound is so heavy and resonating in a Black Sabbath way. And the organ that he uses really thickens out the atmosphere. Yamamoto on bass does his thing on the bass making everything heavier. The man at the skins, Mark Pickerel has a friggin awesome style. This guy has some awesome drum work on this album where he just breaks from keeping the time and adds some quick fills to let you know everyone playing is kicking some a$$. He in his own right gives it an even harder edge. Singing is also done by Roth and is probably the least desirable part of the music it will grow on you. He has a kind of tired moaning that suddenly turns into a frantic scream when he raises his voice. But its perfect for lyrics which are real psychedelic and dark. I think of Kyuss on downers when listening to these guys. There are no real standout tracks here except 'Blue Flame Ford,' which is very catchy but is also the weakest track. Try and find it used somewhere. It's worth paying the price of a new CD for it.

5 out of 5 stars Not long enough, in my opinion.......2003-11-11

I was in 8th grade when I read a review of this CD in the Dallas Morning News by Thor Christenson--borrowed the money from my parents and begged them to take me over to Bill's Records. My feeble little mind was blown away as soon as I listened to it; of course that does not say much, because that is the same age when Brittany Spears is mind blowing. But even now at 22, it continues to be my favorite album, not just for familiarity's sake or the fact that I've always felt thismuch better than everyone else for discovering such a gem, but it is a genuinely awesome group of songs that should have gotten album of the year. Who's heard of Robert Roth, though? Hiro Yamamoto, yes. Mark Pickeral, yes. But I swear I am so obsessed with Robert Roth, I am eagerly awaiting his solo album coming out this year, hopefully. He is an absolute genius--I've never heard any music like his before. His lyrics go with the style--a love song is not just a love song, it's a summary of an entire group of contrasting feelings.

I never skip over anything in this album, I know every song by heart. Each song has depth and drama and is like like a miniature opera. I guess to describe the music itself, I'd have to use such mundane words as mesmerizing, flowing, decadent, trance-like, delerious, perpetual, drowning.

I think it is totally worth a blind buy--that's what I did back in 95, and look what a raving lunatic I have become.

5 out of 5 stars Early Tree Captured - Live In Rome '97.......2006-12-08

THE BAND: Steve Wilson (guitars, vocals), Richard Barbieri (keyboards) Colin Edwin (bass), Chris Maitland (drums & percussion).

THE DISC: (1997) Originally released in '97 (containing 10 tracks), this elegant digitally remastered foldout digi-pak was re-released in 2004 by Snapper Music. 2 discs containing 14 total tracks (53+ minutes on disc-1, 47+ minutes on disc-2). Included with the discs is a 6-page booklet containing band pictures, song titles & times. Recorded live in Rome in March 1997.

COMMENTS: The new & improved remastered version of "Coma Divine" is brilliant. New cover artwork and crisp remixed sound makes this totally worthwhile. While England's Porcupine Tree is always beautifully crafted music from the maestro Steve Wilson, this recording is where the band puts it all together on one stage. PT reaches so many different kinds of listeners (or at least they should)... catchy pop, hard rock, retro psychedelic (1970's style in the vein of Pink Floyd), electronic, etc. Wilson's strong writing and guitar wizardry can't help but take you on a mesmerizing journey every time you listen. I enjoy PT's willingness to be different and experiment. 14 tracks are featured on "Coma" - great live rendentions include "Signify", "Waiting - Phase I & II", the 13 minute "Radioactive Toy", "Up The Downstair", "Moonloop" and the 12+ minute "The Sky Moves Sideways", et all. The audience seems fairly small and very enthusiastic (and respectful at the same time)... in some songs you can hear a pin drop. Songs from "The Sky Moves Sideways" album dominate the track list on "Coma Divine". You'll also find a few tunes from "Signify" and a few from earlier releases. Due to this being a 1997 release, you'll find no songs from recent classics "Stupid Dream (1999), "Lightbulb Sun" (2000), or "In Absentia" (2002). Can't wait for a live album from PT featuring tracks from these awesome albums. If you're a fan of Porcupine Tree - you MUST own this release (5 stars).

4 out of 5 stars The psychedelic vacation.......2006-06-13

Live albums seem to be only for the die hard fans of particular bands. When you're unsure of the particular content of their material, what basis for contrast do you have, right? I feel that's wrong, and upon visiting JB's I picked up a rather tasty 2 CD pack titled Coma Divine by one of England's best psychedelic alternatives, Porcupine Tree.
Relatively unheard of down here in Oz, Porcupine Tree can be summed up in a short amount of words. Pink Floyd of the 21st century.
Their variety of instruments, additional synthesisers and sound effect's shows why Steven Wilson (Front man and heart + soul of the band) is a musical wizard.
It shows in this album. Recorded live in Rome before a modest crowd, the band plays songs you can find on recent albums (Signify, On the Sunday of life...) as well as improvised instrumentals.
This entire album is just one large psychedelic vacation taking you on a philosophical journey about technology and social consciousness. In one word this album - inspiring.

5 out of 5 stars Ummagumma-esque wizardry with electronica tapestry.......2005-09-30

I already owned the single-disc version sold on the Delirium label, but I saw this in a record store and couldn't resist (along with the dual-disc 'Signify').

Yes, its a digi-pak, but its still got the plastic snap-on base, glued onto a duo-fold cardboard frame. It includes more (and better) artwork than the old Delirium release (this two-disc set is a Snapper release).

Anyone wowed by PinkFloyd's Ummagumma Live album should listen to this superb recreation of these classic PT cuts (wow, PT's been around long enough to have classics already). All performances are flawless. This is real headphone music, and its a great introduction to older PT material for those not already familiar with the band (though I am remiss that they didn't perform the song 'Sever' on this set).

For those who already own the single-disc version, maybe you should hold off unless you want the dual disc as a collector's item. It might be worth it if you want to upgrade to a remastered copy. Otherwise, there is only an additional 25 minutes on this two-disc set compared to the 76 minute long single disc. Unless you're burning to hear the extra tracks live, the single disc is still a good album. I find the sonics of both the single-disc and the two-disc set to be about the same, which is to say, excellent.

5 out of 5 stars Great live album........2005-04-30

This is a great album representing the early stages of Porcupine Tree's music. Flawless playing from the whole band, especially some excellent drumming. Like the first reviewer, I haven't heard the original recording so I can't comment on the remastering. Although I will say that the sound quality is crystal clear and very full, so unless the original was already excellent this must be a great remastering job. I'm not sure which tracks are bonus tracks and I can't be bothered to look it up, but both discs are great beginning to end.

Many people seem to have been introduced to PT through In Absentia, myself included. Although In Absentia is a great album, I do not agree with the previous reviewer who says that this is early work and cannot compare. It's true that this album cannot compare ONLY because these songs are a completely different style of music, and because this is a live recording and In Absentia (obviously) is not. But as far as quality, I really can't say that this material is any less great than In Absentia. In Absentia is more conventional in the sense that the songs are mostly average length and structured while many of the songs on here have longer periods of seemingly free form jamming and instrumentation. Assuming that you like this style of music just as much as the style on In Absentia (which I do), I don't think you will find this to be any less enjoyable than that album.

Overall a great live recording and a pretty good place to start for those introducing themselves to the early PT material.

4 out of 5 stars The end of the beginning.......2004-11-04

Get this now! The extra tracks are REALLY worthy, and the new packaging is gorgeous. I can't comment on the remastering since I don't have the orginal, but all I can say is that it sounds really good.

Like many, I discovered this great band via Opeth and got the awesome 'In Absentia' album. Although this -being earlier work- can't compare, it's still an excellent live performance and showcase of the more lengthy pieces in their set at the time.

Loose ways to describe this music would be "a hard rocking Pink Floyd" or "King Crimson fronted by a pop songwriter".

Highlights are 'Signify', 'The Sky Moves Sideways', 'Up the downstair' and 'The Moon Touches Your Shoulder'.

But of course, the best was yet to come...

5 out of 5 stars The most noble voice.......2004-05-28

Victoria de los Angeles' voice not only has a silken quality and fascinating glow to it but it is one of the most regal, noble sounds you'll ever hear. She illuminated those moments of quietness, gentleness and noble, feminine pride and elegance like no other soprano before and after her. This release of her "Spanish Songs" has never been surpassed. The songs of her homeland seem to have been written for her beautiful instrument alone, she fills every piece with special beauty and charm, religious flair and beautiful, noble simplicity. Buy this recording and see why Victoria is one of the best sopranos ever having come from Spain.

5 out of 5 stars A special Dignity and an Unfailing Beauty of Voice........2000-09-17

This set offers four generously-filled CDs comprising almost 140 Spanish songs from Victoria de los Angeles' repertoire. To all of them she brings a special dignity and an unfailing beauty of voice. The earliest recordings date from 1950 and the last is the items she sang at the opening of the Barcelona Olympics in 1992. Yes, you will find the ubiquitous "Clavelitos!" here, and a later version of "La maya el ruisenor" from "Goyescas". The enclosed booklet provides illuminating notes by Lionel Salter, who also translated many of the texts which are also included. Accompanists include Gerald Moore and Alicia de Larrocha, and Victoria de Los Angeles provides a guitar accompaniment herself in one song. The last track of all, a zapateado from a zarzuela, recorded live in New York, must almost have brought the house down.

1 out of 5 stars Ugly edition.......2007-05-09

I hope to have a better product. I trust you, ever, but this time you sell to me a CD which edition has much to imporve.

5 out of 5 stars great metal album.......2007-03-24

Simply excellent, aggressive, fast, intensive, fascinating album. Always listen it with great enthusiasm and maximum volume.

5 out of 5 stars Kreator's underrated masterpiece........2006-11-05

I say this is underrated because when everyone mentions Kreator albums, none of them ever mention "Coma of Souls."

This, along with Kreator's first four releases, is nothing sort of brilliant. Excellent thrashing riffs, machine gun drums, killer solos, chilling vocals, and excellent songwriting. These songs aren't generic thrash themes. "When the Song Burns Red" is very shocking because it's about the horrors of global warming and it was made back in 1990, LONG before Al Gore went on a campaign to get everyone aware of it. "People of the Lie" mocks the Third Reich and their heinous acts across Europe. "Coma of Souls" is a very chilling song about your fears coming to reality, and "Agents of Terror" is about government-control with violence and fear; hmmm..., can you think of a certain guy in the Oval Office whose doing that as we speak?

If you love Kreator or thrash in general, "Coma of Souls" should be in your collection. Not only is the music good, but it's so chilling that the subject matter has become relevent sixteen years after it's release.

Forget about Rammstein, Kreator kicks their weak arses.

5 out of 5 stars Hallucinative Comas.......2005-12-16

I am the biggest Kreator's fan on earth... yes, I am and you are not! I had the priviledge to meet Mille Petrozza 2 years ago and let me tell you that he is a terrific guy. So now I not only respect him as a musician but as a person as well.

About this record... It has it all: violence, brutallity, melody, heavy riffs, rawness, attitude and Hate. Yes, Hate! I would dare to say that what really makes this band is the "hate" that they proyect. They hate you, me, themselves, the album's producer, the sound engineer, etc... I mean, you can feel the hate that Mille Petrozza feels for the world on every song.

The first time I heard "When the sun burns red" I was totally amazed by the force of this song... it's just incredible! The rest of the songs are really good. Now, I have to point out that "People of the lie" really stands out from the rest of the songs. Great message by the way!

The only flaw (in my opinion) is that the last 2 songs are somehow weaker than the rest... I read an interview that Mille gave to a magazine (on the net) and he accepted that on this CD there are a couple of fillers. I will not call these songs "fillers", but they are not as good as the rest.

Overall My rate will be 8.5 out of 10. This is pure trash metal!

Go and Buy it.. you wont regret it.

5 out of 5 stars Thrash with skill!.......2005-12-10

This is a great CD. I purchased the cassette tape back in 1990 and loved every song on it. Great era for thrash metal too! I even have the People of the Lie music video taped from The Headbangers Ball on MTV as well as an interview with Mille by Ricky Rackman. Classic stuff for sure. One of the better Kreator albums of their career. Highly recommended. Also pick up Violent Revolution and Enemy of God. All great music to work out to, it breathes energy...

5 out of 5 stars Something for Florida to be proud about:.......2006-04-17

Escape from Cape Coma. A lasting landmark from a great band out of my home state, Florida. These guys were amazing live and their CD barely begins to touch their energy and presence as a band.

The lyrics may seem trite at times but just sitting back and listening to this CD generates an awesome experience as you move up and down with the intensity.

Stand-out tracks are: Shine and Reach (which has always been my favorite song of theirs.)

4 out of 5 stars Was my fave band........2006-01-23

Twisted method were my favourite band, the lead singer's crazyness onstage and singing voice/screams, not to mention the nuts guitarplayer

well anyways, now twisted method has long and gone, the guitarplayer Andy died R.I.P. but still buy this cd in memory

Song review

1. The end, kinda reminds me of a circus intro at the start but great guitar and vocals 4/5

2. Fled, props for tripp's vocal work in this and catchy ass chorus 5/5

3. Reach, the guitar is awesome, vocals and chorus are awesome 4/5

4. Change me, my fave song on the cd and crazy guitar and vocals 6/5

5. Inside out, mostly just a filler track but you get used to it and nuts guitar on it 3/5

6. Mannequin, all i gotta say is tripp has anger problems 2/5

7. Awkward silence, the vocals and lyrics are probably the best on this song and all but i say the song could of been better 4/5

8. Panic, short but very good, great drums and guitar and vocals 5/5

9. Shine, my 2nd fave track on the cd, great guitar 5/5

10. Rot, another anger problem of tripps 2/5

11. 125, great bass, great drums, great guitar and great vocals GOOD JOB! 6/5

12. Newborn, the most heartfelt song on the cd, great guitar intro 4/5

13. Faceless, pretty good and also props on tripp for the long ass scream in the middle of the song 4/5

5 out of 5 stars Anything but a coma.......2005-12-29

First off, I'd like to ask people who don't like a certain type of music to not review that type of music. For example, if you don't like so-called "nu-metal" (I hate that term), don't review nu-metal cds. Obviously you won't like any cd of that genre, so your opinion is not helpful to anyone considering purchasing that album. I don't like rap, so I don't review those cds because I would rate them all one star. Be sure to check out all of a reviewer's previous reviews to make sure they know what they are talking about, and like the same things you do before trusting their judgement. Also, I've seen numerous reviewers say this band sounds like Slipknot. I own all of Slipknot's cds, so I can confidently say that in no way do Twisted Method sound like them. Enough of my beefs with other reviews, now on to my own.

I picked up this cd on a hunch, and I can't believe I got so lucky. I often go out on a limb and buy cds from bands I have heard little or nothing from, so when I listen to the cd I have an open mind. After listening to this disc all the way through, I instantly knew I found something special. Twisted Method is so much better than all the bands they are often lumped together with. The first two songs come out blasting, and are just average. However, after that, every other song on the album is great. This band has a good range, and though some people may not like his style, I think the singer's voice really works well with the music. This band is not the most innovative in the world, but I'm one who believes that a band doesn't necessarily have to break new ground to be good. They really put everything they have into their music, and there is no sign of an attempt at mainstreaming their songs. They play the music exactly how they want it, and if you don't like it, too bad.

If you like music that blends heavy guitar and hard vocals with softer music and vocals without feeling forced or out of place, this is a band you should try out. If you don't believe me, download "Awkward Silence", "Inside Out", "Faceless", and "Reach". This will give you a really good idea of what this band is all about. If you like those songs, you will like the album, and I encourage you to support the band by purchasing it.

To give you an idea of my taste in music, some of my favorite bands with fairly recent releases are (in no order): Fear Factory, Soil, Rob Zombie, Black Label Society, Flaw, Ill Nino, Mushroomhead, and Slipknot.

4 out of 5 stars Escape to cape coma........yay.......2005-06-16

I've wanted this album for ages, and I still don't have it but I plan to buy it very soon........anyway. This album is sooooo cool, Twisted Method are a really amazing band. I don't think they're greatly known in the UK,as they never come over here to do any shows, apart from a few years back they did Ozzfest with Dope, Adema and Motograter. Anyway, for all you skeptical, disbelieving people that don't think that Twisted Method are anything great, you are soooooo incredibly wrong!!!!

Ok, I take that back, I know that reviews are just down to personal opinions, but I really do think that Twisted Method are a great band, they're different, and they've tried hard to be where they are now.

I think that me and all the other twisted method fans out there should just convert everyone lol. Ok, so that's not going to happen, but it bugs me when a good band don't get recognized as much as they should lol, but again, it's just down to my personal opinion.
Anyway, onto the album. It's a very good album and is worth having. I love Tripps voice, he sounds great!!!

Standout tracks to listen to if any:
End is quite a good song.
Reach is a cool song.
Change me and Inside out are both amazing songs, and I think they're two of the best on the album, they're both so kick ass and having amazing chorus'! I can't stress enough how cool these two songs are.
Shine is quite good, a pretty average song.
Rot is a good song.
Newborn and Faceless are really good songs.
Last thing to say is "Fled" is one of the craziest songs I have ever heard lol.
The music on this album is very good, especially the guitars!!
Also, if you're going to listen to any of the tracks on the album, I strongly suggest Change me and Inside out. :-)

1 out of 5 stars Ripoff Band.......2005-04-01

Heck, I listen to all types of metal, punk and hardcore (not that poppy crap), but this? I feel embarrassed listening to this unoriginal material. Seriously, these guys need to lay off the F-bomb. This is garbage from yet another lame second stage band on Ozzfest 2003. Yes, there were good bands on Ozzfest 2003: Korn, Disturbed, Chevelle, Nothingface (R.I.P.), and such, but this is one of those bands that only releases one album and breaks up after they realize how much they suck. I don't know if these guys broke up, but they need to. Their material sounds like yet another Slipknot ripoff. The intro to "The End" copies Slipknot's "Surfacing", and the vocalist has a s**tty stilleto voice. Talk about lame! Don't buy this crap. Slipknot is a quadrillion times better than these Linkin Park wannabe f**kwads.

      Customer Reviews:

      4 out of 5 stars Matthew Good: In A Coma: 1995-2005 (EMI).......2005-10-16

It's sad to know that a man as opinionated and educated as this one would be creating a ten-year retrospective for his work, especially since i feel like I am the only man who has noticed that Matthew Good's only album in America was Beautiful Midnight. In fact, I keep on worrying every time I get the chance what happened to Matthew Good with the American releases. Every other album was released in Canada, and it turns out America doesn't get to participate and listen in on his interviews and questions about choosing between a mansion and Social Distortion.
Now, In A Coma was released with all of his latest and greatest tunes and videos (sold separately), even the limited edition where they release his further imports like Loser Anthems. To tell you the truth, I wondered what made him do that, because if I understand the likes of the socially active and dignified, some of them feel they don't need to release a greatest hits album. The albums were greatest Hits album. But the Greatest Hits album contains all his geatest hits from The Future Is X-Rated (the song in which when everyone thinks of x-rated, they think of sex and nothing more), Alert Status Red ("In the wilderness, where the place you find freedom is in the dictionary under 'F'"), In A World Called Catastrophe (a well-expressed tune with 9-volume guitars sounding from the perspective of the cynical looking at the apocalypse from all over), to "Weapon" ("Here by my side, an angel/here by my side, the Devil") and also where his two newest singles are placed ("Oh Be Joyful", "Big City Life").
It also seems as if he took his best songs and the ones we hadn't heard much of and played acostic versions The disc is better known as ROOMS. To tell you the truth, "Hello Time Bomb" had energy and brains, so I can't really picture it being played with an acoustic guitar. Now that I listen to it in acoustic, it sounds kind of...eh. Melancholy and out of energy to spare. I also can't picture "Strange Days" being played any other way, BUT acoustic as it was originally. "Truffle Pigs" sounds as if it wasmade for acoustic because it fit the mood. Notice that whenever the music ia acoustic, that means not that he will not use samples for the music. Apparentlu, none of this was really live. So it seems the music is packed with the best and the unforgetable.
My one question is of why "Giant" wasn't put there. It would have been a wonderful add to the album, no matter if the album seems like a shot at the major label while they were on Atlantic Records. That would have been a wonderful statement to make on a greatest hits, but then again the statement would have shown his contradiction because he released a retrospective. Oh well. The listen was fun while it lasted, I believe. And so was the meet of a human called Matthew Good and his band. Odds are after ten years, he may come back for more music. Rightnow, settle for as much wisdom as you can get out of the CD. And you can say, "Godspeed, my brother. Thanks for your attempt to change music and the world."

      5 out of 5 stars Great.......2006-02-13

I got this album for Christmas this year, and it was awesome! The only Matt Good music I had been exposed too before this were the songs from Beautiful Midnight and Avalanche. I was delighted to find older songs like Symbolistic White Walls and Haven't Slept In Years and now they are my favourites.

      5 out of 5 stars sundoggem.......2005-10-18

There are three types of people who should buy this: those that have been in a coma for the last ten years, those that have been awake but who've never listened to Matt Good, and those constant listeners who love his music. That's just about everyone isn't it? Great compilation for folks like me from south of the border who don't have easy access to Matt's music. Video collection is great along with Loser Anthems and B-sides.

5 out of 5 stars Great Album - why pay more?.......2005-10-14

A great collection of stuff for old and new fans alike. Obviously the music is great but the DVDs are packed with interesting commentaries and a nice short about Rooms.

The only thing you have to ask yourself is "Do I really want to pay $50 for an Amazon import when I can order it directly from the Matt Good store at Maple Music for half the price?"

      5 out of 5 stars AMAZING!.......2005-10-03

How rare is it to find an artist who makes every song amazing? Well here he is. I love Matthew Good and In a Coma is an amazing collection of his talent. MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE. If you can get the edition with the DVD, well worth it!

      5 out of 5 stars rejoyce.......2005-09-21

this is an excellent collection of Matthew good/MGB tracks. Many of the best songs from each album are included (minus some important ones in my opinon) but the real treat is that "Loser Anthems" and "Lo-fi B-sides" are also included. Those of us who searched the earth for those tracks can now have some peace of mind. I wish some of his really early stuff could of made it on the list. Songs like "Dancing Invisable" "The Ocean" and "The Bombmaker" are awsome tracks from his Pre Matthew Good Band days that would of fit perfectly. "Rooms" is amazing. It really shows how Matt has the talent to write a beautiful song then change it up and still have a beautiful song. The acoustic version of "Strange days" steals the show for me. I really enjoy the music video DVD. I think that MGB had some of the coolest most imaginitive videos to date. Seeing "Stange days" on T.V got me hooked on them. Plus it's cool to hear Matt's comentary. All in all, if you're a Matthew Good fan you can't lose. I think he put this all together as a gift to us, the fans. The only thing that's sad is that such a talent is greatly unknown and that more people don't know his work.
