Wow - Surprisingly Good.......2005-05-04

I had to write something about these guys. Let it be known that I usually hate this type of music - most of the new garbage on the radio is unmelodic , untalented and still hanging on the flannel of the worst years in music , the "grunge-years". Anyhoo , I'm not deaf to great melodies and songs with catchy hooks and these guys have got it!! I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked it , it's actually similar to the band The Hellacopters. While I won't deny there are a few clunkers on this disc , most of it is very enjoyable and you'll be singing these songs all day. No Screaming , No Yelling , No Angst-ridden garbage that has polluted 90% of "modern rock" bands (If you hate life so much then change it). Highly Recommended.

This cd is just awesome! I love every song on it. They give you a mellow rock all at the same time. Definitley great stuff.

this is nothing but a good pop/rock cd.

good songs, good playing, good vocals, good production:

the songs are catchy, singable, and to-the-point

the playing is top-notch, clean, and tight

the vocals are strong, melodic, and, at times reminiscent of Robin Zander (cheap trick) or Johnny Dee (HMS)

the production is uncluttered, punchy, and, well...minty!
(gee, i guess i WOULD know...)

can't wait for the next release!

Power Pop at it's Best.......2000-10-25

Both live in concert and on their CD, Supermint really rocks the power pop scene. With songs that are fun to listen to whether you've heard them once or 20 times, this CD is a must have. The lyrics have real meaning and the guitar work is amazing. You'll want to add this one to your pop collection!

Now this is a great CD. Unlike most CDs, I like every song on it!! There isn't one you'll want to skip. Each one has it's own vibe, but they all fit together to make ONE AWESOME CD !! These guys are going to be respected rock/pop stars i.e. FASTBALL-JELLYFISH- CROWDED HOUSE- MARVELOUS 3 !!!
