FALKIRK is the name of a melodic speed-metal band from the Paris area, created during the summer of 1996. Its first album "The Day Will Come" was issued four years later and received excellent critics both from the press and from the audience. Inspired both by BLIND GUARDIAN (Baroque and medieval influences) and by traditional heavy-metal, the band has tried to put France back again in a musical landscape that is completely dominated by Scandinavian and Anglo-Saxon bands.
