FIINKY PIE is a Parisian group, formed around Raymz FIINK (ORGIE, GOSHUP...) in September 2002. The latter, exasperated and desesperated by the status of the rock scene in France, decided to build its own group of pure heavy rock n' roll. The goal was to fight against the huge number of neo-metal groups and to allow the new generation to rediscover what real music is about. Those young people are eager to learn about it, and are fed up with the sadness and lack of fun of the current groups. It's actually time to stop sulking on stage, the audience must have fun ! The first eponymous album includes nine storming but still melodic songs, a groove and some guitar choruses which ZZ TOP wouldn't have denied, some sequences which are as good as KISS' ones (One can note the remake of "Hard Times"), an ill-temper which is similar to the first MOTLEY CRUE's albums and a general tone reminded the great Alice COOPER. You shouldn't miss this !
