Rufio meets Punchline...Hey Mike! is born........2007-03-21

When hearing Hey Mike's Embrace Your Hooks EP, you may mistake the band for Rufio...overall very similar sound. Each track on this album can hold it's own and really highlights the potential success Hey Mike! can gain in the next few years. It's Nice to Choose may remind you of the band Punchline, where Emotion Sensor clearly reflects the sound Rufio. Overall, a solid EP worth checking out. It's probably better to purchase this in digital format (mp3) throught the band for a better price.

i saw this band once in ventura california and was surprised to see they had a new cd out. they have a great sound and talent..hope to hear lots more from this band

I started listening to this band because I saw them at the Ventura Theater and their cd is amazing! They are lucky enough to be born with a very rare Gene called 'the melody gene'. They come up with really really really good hooks to their songs and obviously they know this because they named the album 'embrace your hooks'. These guys will be huge.
