I have purchased this CD single and recieved it some days ago. I saw its pretty cover and expected that there must be something wonderful in this CD. I insert it into my CD player and listened to it immediately. But when I just finished listening the first track, I began to be tired of it.
All these 4 songs were from "The Little Mermaid" but sung by some music groups which are not very famous. The first song is "Under the Sea", I thought it must be good before I listened to it. But it's really a strange version of this song, though the lyric hasn't been changed at all. The rhythm and the melody of this track are so different from the version which was from the movie. This is really a noisy version! Then I skipped the rest of it and listened to the next track "Part of Your World". Well, I've know that songs in this single would be speedy before I bought it. I was expecting that "Part of Your World" in this single would be good as the one in "Radio Disney Pop Dreamers", and it must be sung by a beautiful female vocal. But the version in this single was sung by men, and really strange just like "Under the Sea" in this single was! I listened to the rest 2 tracks roughly, and put this single in my drawer, never listened to it again till today.
"The Little Mermaid" is one of my favorite Disney Classic and the songs in the movie impressed me so much, that's why I bought this single. But it made me so disappointed. I think people who love songs of "The Little Mermaid" won't love versions in this single. It really a loss of beauty, romantic and wonder!
