The album is absolute great.
Back in the days the songs reflected the perfect context of the times.
The front cover was smart made-SNAKE PLISKEN STYLE-and because of that SCI-FI thing it was a big seller.
At that time it was the best cover I ever saw.
The album was their peak in music.
I highly recommend this ALBUM

This album is awesome!!!! Not only it's as good as it's
predecessor,but it's the best sounding of all of Exploited' records as well !!!! (remastering is remarkable).The production (sound not style)is a little influenced by hard-rock
standards of that era(which is a nice thing,don't get me
wrong).Steve Roberts,ex UK Subs,contributes to the tightest rythm section ever recorded on a punk rock record.Big John's guitar delivery is gorgeous and very personal.This one is worth every penny.

one of the best of '80s british punk.......2000-06-24

in the early '80s, british punk took a turn toward hardcore and the exploited (along with gbh, disorder, etc.)led the charge. the beat was fast and furious, the politics ferocious, and the magenta mohawk became state of the art. this album is blessed with great production, something many hardcore albums lack, meaning the froth and fury don't come across as a total muddle. moreover, the machine gun beat comes with hooks that leave you humming along with the tunes. big john was a decent guitarist and his fireball leads add spice to the mix. highlights here are "disorder," "alternative," "usa," and the title track (penned by the vibrators). the album is as much a glimpse of the gutter politics of the uk under maggie thatcher, giving voice to frustration and emptiness of a generation of street kids who looked on the waning empire and saw themselves left out. it's raw, loud, and a downright classic.

buzzzsaw razor guitar murder.......2006-01-08

This is a crucial album in the evolution of The Exploited. The opening track is enough anarchic assault on the ears to make any punk fan realize these guy's meant buisness! It is altogether a solid album, guitar is great, the drums are loud and fast and the vox are pist. This album is a classic and more than half the songs are more than note worthy ("sid vicious was innocent", "jimmy boyle", troops of tomorrow", "f--- the usa" and alternative" are the best!!). "but don't take my word for it"

A punk classic, poorly remastered.......2005-07-12

A total gem of a hardcore punk album deserving of 5 stars, but, as the prior review stated, a poor job of remastering.

WORST PRODUCTION FROM A REMASTER EVER!!!!.......2004-12-13

This cd is supposedly remastered by snapper uk. I accidentally bought this version instead of the CAPTAIN OI version. Only buy the Captain Oi version 'cause it contains actual good production & good bonus tracks. This version just sounds like they just took the vinyl master & added 5 bonus tracks without remastering them at all, even though there's a sticker on it that says digitally remastered.

I don't have the Captain Oi version of this album but I can say like Punk's Not dead, this is another album that you might end up listening for a year or more. it's also that good. enough said.

Best Exploited album. . .in the top 5 punk albums ever........2005-04-06

Thank god fr the Exploited! In a time where punk has become exactley the opposite of what it once was, I can always listen to the old Exploited stuff. This record is just incredible. It's as raw and beligerent(sp?) as can be and has a great production, considering punk records were recorded in basements and attics back then.

Very few bands exist like them today i.e. Violent Society, The Unseen, Virus. Jesus, punk sucks now. Oh well. Anyway, buy this cause its just THE perfect punk album of the time. . . . . . . . . . .and cause Wattie's the F***in man!!!

this is a great 80s punk album.One of the best punk rock albuns,i would say along with INFA RIOTs IN FOR A RIOT,in my opinion better than Punks not dead.I first bought this album back in 86(vynil)and i still love it.The exploited is a great band and this is the best album of its 1st phase(pure raw punk rock),along with Lets start a war(said maggie one day).Today Exploited plays what we could call "crossover"a mixture of Hardcore punk & Thrash metal.Since i also like 80s Metal bands like Exodus,Destruction,Kreator,Metallica(1st 3 albuns),Slayer etc.I love the 2nd exploited phase(more metal)too. GREAT BAND,GREAT ALBUM! Listen to it and you ll know what i am talking about.
