Product Description
BACKGROUND:

On July 27, 1983, Cleveland metal band Breaker made their one and only appearance on WMMS’ prestigious "Coffee Break Concert" program. The band, formed less than one year earlier, had quickly risen to popularity in the underground with their self-described brand of ‘original heavy metal in the finest European tradition’. This performance captured Breaker on the eve of both their first single and Cleveland Metal compilation releases. What followed is history.

ALBUM FACTS:

• Mastered from the original 2-track tapes; includes 13 tracks + band interviews.
• Original cover art by world famous artist Derek Hess (a Breaker fan himself!)
• WMMS’ "Coffee Break Concert" series hosted lots of name artists and legendary performances over the years. The Buzzard in Cleveland is one of the country’s most well-known commercial FM radio stations.
• Features Breaker’s original line-up and is their only official live recording to date.
• Includes rare photographs and liner notes by rock writer Anastasia Pantsios, local promoter Chris Andrews, WMMS’ Denny Sanders, Cleveland Agora owner Henry LoConti, artist Derek Hess, Breaker’s Mark Klein and Auburn president Bill Peters.
