Customer Reviews:
I got two words.......2006-09-17
The La's. Oh you have to love it. Well okay there's more than The La's influences too, and "The Greatest Thing" ooozes romance, but you should check it for yourself.

yo hoss, straight-up -- if you ain't hip to this trip, get your fanny off the love ship. you know, you know how my ark go -- two of every animal and this propalicious album and that be IT. haters can swim, nahmean? this disc be pure luscilicious rock me, with sexitude up the woo-ha, nahmean? chris tucker's like the homi baba of fishtown honkeys; minus the marginalia and more of the guitarania. john-paul drive his drums like his trucked-out rig -- vavoomiliscious! joe (tele)castro puts the ro back in the rock, no crock. and larry -- he got that big, fine, bootylicious booty-body bass and it bootytacular, nahmean? word. this ain't no neo-post-retro-garage rock multiplicity carcinogenicity -- this is some straight-up geniused-out musical felicity -- no duplicity, nahmean? word.
I gots to have me cherry.......2003-10-07
If you could have only 1 CD in your collection, the original reace nasty e.p. would have to be it, but that CD was only available for purchase at shows while The Situation was on tour in Europe. (That EP and Free Joe Castro t-shirts are now bringing in big bucks from online auction sites.) But if you can't have that CD, don't worry. This recently released version is better than the original with a new recording of Why I Can't Relate and a 6th hidden bonus live version of Cherry. This CD is worth buying. The Situation has a unique sound that is addictive and much more original than the majority of the crap playing on the radio today. FREE JOE CASTRO!!!!!
