Editorial Reviews
Bob Cameron is a native of Port Hawksbury, Nova Scotia who's been a resident of Edmonton since the late 1980's. Cameron developed into a stellar guitar player while toiling in several different cover bands in the 1980's. A desire to develop his own music led him to go solo.
He first gained national notoriety by winning the MuchMusic Guitar Warz contest. That was followed by a win in a local talent competition sponsored by an Edmonton radio station. The grand prize was the production of a CD by west coast engineer/producer Randy Staub (most noted for his work with Metallica). The resulting self-titled disc spun two singles ('Human Fortress' and 'If I Wait There For You') into the national pop/adult radio charts. Appearances followed with everyone from the Oyster Band to Burton Cummings.
This guitar virtuoso and accomplished songwriter, mixes Celtic soulfulness with heartland rock.

Cameron's new work is nearly all, acoustic; ranging from swampy, blues-styled songs like Over My Head to the melancholy ballad Pieces.
