Orridge was exiled in America, he used phone booths across the west coast to make the recordings straight onto tapes & then had the masters smuggled to him from England. 'Peak Hour' has been complemented by the now impossible to find Tribal remixes by the Drum Club & the legendary Psychic TV remix of 'Godzilla Return To The Sea'. Godzilla is the psychotic homeless junkie that Genesis signed to Temple Records in 1982 where he released one album. 2002.

Could have been a great recording.......2005-02-12

I considered the only review available, and purchased, but found audibility real problem (on my Bose system). Sometimes it cannot be heard, then I have to hurry and turn it down before I blast my eardrums out. I have become familiar enough with the CD to just avoid a few of the tracks, though I wish that were not the case.

One of the best choral works ever.......1999-09-11

I've listened to many choral cds over the years, but this one, by far, is the best that I have ever had the pleasure of listening. It simulates an evensong complete with the lessons. The balance is great, the sound quality is exceptional. All choral music lovers should immediately purchase this cd.

Every track on this cd is incredible! If you like freaky tweaky squeaky techy deeply intense, tripped-out and disjointed, darkly emotional electronic music then what are you waiting for? BUY THIS CD!!!! Not your typical Psychic TV cacophany, that's for sure! Caution: Not for the clueless or fainthearted... Exercise care when listening with headphones...your mind just may be blown!

really run of the mill..........2005-08-10

there's just not much distinction between tracks on this disc. It's slightly pretty melodic trance, a bit of harder "darude" sounding stuff, but it just doesn't really get into your soul. There's a tiny bit of vocal here and there, and an occasional riff that catches your attention for a moment, but for the most part, it sounds like the kind of indistinct "rave" track used in any club scene of any movie in the 1990s. Better than the first..........2005-08-10

While still rather generic in terms of content, the tracks on this volume give a better club feel than the first volume did. Track 4 is actually somewhat of a modern remix of Lidell Townsell's 90s house hit "get Wit U", considering it samples his vocals throughout. But other than that, it's still stuff you'd dance to like crazy at a rave-and then immediately forget after the party was over. Track times:
