good Pittsburgh punk rock.......2001-04-06

Probably made better by the fact that they don't seem caught up in any trendy "scene" or genre that will be here today and gone tomorrow. You can tell these guys are in it because they love the music. No posing, no skateboards, no fake British accents pretending to be The Business. Just straight ahead pub-style punk rock. They know how to change it up just enough to keep the melodicism and the hard edge in proper balance. If I had to compare them to a band, maybe I'd say The Workin Stiffs from San Francisco, or a streetpunk band that just sounds that way and isn't trying to be some '77 throwback. They are in the here and the now, and the honesty is refreshing. A quality listen.
