How do they do it?! I DONT KNOW! BUT WHAT I DO KNOW IS THAT ITS GREAT!!!

The follow up to 2003's full-length album is a great effort and you'll love it. Start A War is heavier that Shadow Zone, but not quite as heavy as Machine. I love this album for the fact that you can tell theres soul in it. Less Industrial sounds on this one, but they're still there.

Great Reunion.......2006-06-29

"Start A War" is the newest album by Static-X. This album brings back the original "Wisconsin Death Trip" crew. The only exception is that Ken Jay is replaced by the band's touring drummer, Nick Oshiro. However the final product delivered finally achieves the greatness that Static-X has longed for since "Wisconsin Death Trip" in 1999. There are some truly brilliant songs on this album such as "Dirthouse" and "Night Terrors". But, then there are the lows of the album such as "Just In Case". Keeping with their 'Otsego' theme, there is a new edition to the family with "Otsego Amigo". As with "Wisconsin Death Trip", the final track on the album is a sort of 'dance/rock' track. Altogether Static-X have managed to release what is possibly their best album ever.

Awesome 4th Album.......2006-04-27

Before this album i really had no order of importance to my Static-X cd collection. It really brings everything home as a culmination into one cohesive sound for the band,which is awesome(i think that may have been an undestatement).This is the end product of their sound over the past few years after Wisconsin Death Trip with the brooding Electronica tinged Thrash Metal, the slightly more automated Machine and the Melodic and surprisingly good Shadow Zone.Each CD i enjoyed and each CD added to the sound of Static-X. Having been a fan of their music since Wisconsin Death Trip i cant wait for their next one(especially since the original lineup is back together except for the absent Ken Jay).

If the title of the box was too ambiguous for some, the titles of the songs will clear up all confusion. "Hold The Pussy", "Punnany", "Play With Your Pussy", "Pussy Catch A Fire", "Action Wood" and "Cock Stiff And Hard" spell out all you need to know about this collection.

As far as the music goes, it's top notch and it includes various luminaries such as Max Romeo, Augustus Pablo, Lee Perry (this dirty dog shows up on 5 cuts), Desmond Dekker and Derrick Morgan.

The music connoisseur will want to pay special attention to Max Romeo's "I Wanna Play With Your Pussy" and Lightning Hopkins' "I Wanna Play With You Poodle". They both claim to be devoted pet lovers but are these the kind of men who ought to be trusted with your daughter? I think not.

Her songs (written together with producer/arranger Kenny Lyon) drip with bourbon and sweat, with the musky scent of sex, cigarettes and satin lingering in the air. But, while Larkin may be laughing her way to her next tease or tango, she leaves in her wake a line of conquests, jealous women and heartbroken lovers.

It's great, has some unique mixes, but why doesn't Amazon carry the import version? I have both, and enjoy the US Version - but the two disc import is permanently loaded in my CD Changer!

If you're not familiar with this duo, they are a unique blend of industrial, goth, and techno - haunting vocals, substantial social commentary, and great groove.

Try to get the import set - but if you can't, pick this up - better yet get them both.

What can I say, Regenerator is by far one of the finest EBM bands ever! I own all of their previous albums and singles (some of which are out of print!), so this retrospective of both old and new remixes is a real treasure trove for me!

This CD is excellent! Each remix is unique, presenting fresh reinterpretations of old favorites and one track from Regenerator's upcoming album Disease, entitled Organism (bound to be another classic for the band!). The listener is treated to older remixes courtesy of industrial luminaries such as Front 242 and newer ones from such artists as Assemblage 23. This CD serves as a fine retrospective (albeit through the lens of artists other than Regenerator) showcasing both the superb vocals and songwriting of Wrex and Patrice Mock. It's also a great starting point for those unfamiliar with the band and its previous releases (all of which are imports with the exception of '99's Debugged and the Millennia Mixes).

If you like these remixes, I suggest you also purchase the European version of this album from the Regenerator website, which is a 2 CD set of album tracks and even more remixes that are not featured on the US version. The US should've received a 2 CD set like the one Europe got, but I guess Regenerator couldn't afford it. In short, buy both versions since there are remixes unique to both releases (with some overlapping) so you can enjoy ALL of these outstanding remixes!

Three Part Review - Part 4 (I lied...).......2003-10-29

Peep Show - Woman masturbating while sharing a story about a sex party she went to. Excellent place to start. Very erotic.
Rodeo - A woman describing what she is going to do to here husband when they get home from the Country bar tonight. Very good voices! This is a role reversal fantasy with the woman riding the man with a toy and harness. Very well done.
Dueling Hoosiers - 30 sec track of two women trying to seduce you at the same time. One on either side of you. They are very catty with each other! It's really just a little distracting.
Inside Marcie's Bedroom - About 10 min long, it is a man's monologue about his experience with a 35 year old music teacher when he was 17. Very funny, but not erotic at all. I would be interested in seeing the show this is excerpted from as it was very entertaining, but it just didn't fit with the theme of the CD.

Vicious Panties - Woman comes home to find here husband wearing her panties. She gets angry and decides to take it to extremes. Forced feminization basically. The biggest problem was the man's acting. Very flat! sounded like he was reading! Not my thing really, but the bad performance would have wrecked it if it was.
Milky - In a nutshell it is a lactation and large penetration fantasy from a woman's POV. Voices are well done, generally pretty good but there is some flowery prose in it. Not bad though. Unfortunately, a couple of references to childbirth kind of jolt you out of the mood a little. Might be a guy thing :). Not bad over all.
Kiss Me Kiss - 'Surrender to the Neo-Vagina' was the line that finally made my wife and I loose it completely. We couldn't stop laughing! This is bad "erotic" poetry set to bad music. I went looking for my black beret and cigarette holder! Skip it.

I gave this 2 stars because although there is some good material on here (and very kinky), there is just too many weird, obscure, or plain not sexy tracks. It seems like the CD was trying to include a wide variety of tastes both erotic and artistic. The problem is that people who by it for the erotic value (which I believe is the largest market) are just going to shake their head at some of the "artistic" choices. Overall, there was no focus to the CD. It went from erotic to funny to irritating to bizarre. If you take just the erotic tracks, you end up with about five. Of those, each individual may find only 2 or 3 that appeal to them. 20 bucks for 2 or 3 good erotic tracks is a little too much. If your interest in this CD is other than erotic, maybe it is a better choice for you. As erotica, it isn't a lot of bang for your buck.

Of those, each individual may find only 2 or 3 that appeal to them.[$$$]for 2 or 3 good erotic tracks is a little too much. If your interest in this CD is other than erotic, maybe it is a better choice for you. As erotica, it isn't a lot of bang for your buck.

Simply amazing..........2003-02-10

This CD on a technical level is simply amazing... find a dark room, put on some headphones (a MUST), sit back, relax, close your eyes and take a listen... you will *swear* that there's someone in the room with you -- literally turning around to see who just walked in the room.

The stories, on the other hand... well I'm not sure you can talk about them here, persay - but some of them are very erotic (and frankly some of them are outside my own personal tastes). But take this CD and some headphones with a partner, open mind and a decent imagination... and enjoy!

Hallucinogenic Audio.......2005-07-03

Helios Creed was/is a trailblazer into unexplored territories of psychedelic/industrial/space rock. He's painfully underrated among guitar innovators. These two albums, lovingly packaged together, will make a fine companion for your interstellar travels. This is some seriously inspired and groovy stuff here, even with an 80's type of pop sheen on a bit of it. My favorites are Unhuman Condition (so psychedelic it hurts!), Showdown, Cookie Jar, Who Cares.

Burning Chrome.......2002-03-10

This CD reissue combines Helios Creed's first two solo LPs after his departure from the semi-legendary group Chrome and the hegemony the late Damon Edge had wielded as the group's chief sound architect. While Edge went on to make a few more (very bad) Chrome albums in the mid 80s, Helios Creed was busy fashioning a reputation as one of avant-rock's supreme axe murderers. Though neither X-Rated Fairy Tales nor Superior Catholic Finger are quite as good as Kiss to the Brain or Lactating Purple, both of these are worthwhile "spaced-punk" nuclear meltdowns in a pretty nice package by Cleopatra. There are a few standout tracks on each CD. "Monster Lust," "The Descent," and "Sex Voodoo Venus" are classic H. Creed--blistering guitar swathed in an array of mechanized drumbeats, twisted samples, and icy cold synthesizers. If you're a Chrome dome (i.e., an original Chrome fan from the late 70s)or a Creed fanatic, this is an essential package. I'm tempted to give this one four stars rather than three, but realistically it's probably not a four star product.
