Customer Reviews:
like no other Staind album!.......2007-03-29
#1: Tolerate, 5 out of 5. Just pure hatered and distain for whinny people. its hard as hell.
#2: Come Again, 4 out of 5. A song directed towards I have no idea who, it's sort of a fighting song.
#3: Break, 5 out of 5. It starts kind of slow then picks up after about 30 seconds. its kind of a "I want to give up song".
#4: Painful, 3.5 out of 5. A depre`ssing song that could have been played better, but it's still a good song.
#5: Nameless, 4 out of 5. Another hateful song not as good as "Tolerate". It's still a pretty awsome some.
#6: Mudshovel, 4 out of 5. The original recording of "Mudshovel". Not as great as the one from "Dysfunction" but still great.
#7: See Thru, 4 out of 5. Depressing but still good. It's hard like like you like it.
#8: Question?, 5 out of 5. slower, but still hard. another kind of hatered song.
#9: No One's Kind, 4.5 out of 5. Hard, this song is a hate and depressing song. It's pretty good.
#10: Self Destruct, 5 out of 5. One of the songs that stick out on the album. very hard.
#11: 4 Walls, 6 out of 5. The best sounding song on the entire album. It is an awsome song to end the album with. Hell, its just an awsome song. It's slow, kind of depressing.
The album ends with another solilouque "There's nothing left for me..."

Tormented Visions
Nephilim , Brian Curtin , Britt Green , Brian Gifford , and Brett Rechtfertig ProductGroup: Music Binding: Audio CD ASIN: B000M6Y83C |
Product Description
TRACKS: 1) Dying Breed 2) Everyday 3) Enemy --------- Thrashin and groovin . That sums up Nephilims sound in a nutshell. This Northern California heavy metal band would say their musical influences include Pantera, Testament, and Exodus, but Nephilim has a style that is clearly their own. Nephilims unique sense of rhythm and killer guitar solos, paired with an instantaneous connection to their audience, make them a metal band you wont want to miss. Nephilims members came together in the summer of 2004. Five teens with a love of metal, all participating in a summer music program. The band's musicianship, showmanship and unique style was recognized as they took first place in a battle of the bands competition with 23 other acts. In the fall of 2004, Nephilim burst onto the Sacramento music scene, opening for a national act to a sold out crowd of 900 and releasing a 3 song EP titled Tormented Visions. In the Spring/Summer of 2005, Nephilim settled into its four existing members and their signature sound. They released a 6 track EP, "Mortality", in April 2006 and have a growing and dedicated fan-base. The band continually develops new, innovative material and is committed to perfecting their sound and performing killer live shows. They have had the opportunity to open for metal greats like Overkill and Deicide, have consistent radio play and have won various battle style events. When you listen to this band you will be sure to agree that it is uncanny for four musicians still in their teens to have such a huge, kick-ass sound. Nephilim is Brian Curtin, lead vocals; Brett Rechtfertig, lead guitar; Britt Green, bass; Brian Gifford, drums.
