A wonderful debut by an impressive young guitar player........2004-08-13

A collection of folksy instrumental tunes, Michael Young's debut effort is fantastic. His talent allows him to sound as though he's playing more than one guitar at once. His songs range from moving, heart-wrenching ballands to upbeat, rock-ish tunes. The songs are melodic, hypnotizing, and often catchy. It's perfect background music AND foreground music. I can't stop listening to it. I'm very impressed (and you will be, too). Check it out.

A Combination of Funk and Jamming Rock n' Roll.......2001-02-07

This CD is my favorite out of the many I have. I have searched for a great rock/funk CD for a long time, and have finally found one. This CD provides me with hours of listening. GSW is a great live band that has two lead guitarists/vocalists. The sounds of GSW are similar to Phish, and the GratefulDead. Recorded in NYC, Chicago, White Plains(NY), and Fort Collins(Co). The band plays in bars, but does so greatly. They rock away with every note of their guitars. A really great band, and I am sad to see them go.

GSW's best, IMHO.......1999-08-18

Any GSW fan will tell you that you have to see them live to really understand what they're about. This CD is the next best thing. GSW's studio albums (with the exception of "RED") tend to be very polished-sounding. That's not a bad thing, but this album, being live, is much grittier, and just plain more fun. Some great jamming going on during "Snake Eyes", "Feel the PRessure", "Imogene" (which includes a Tweezer tease!), "Hellfire", and "Driving West". "Crashing Down" is one of their most intense songs, IMHO, and "Stranger" is my favorite GSW ballad. And "Hollow Frog" is just plain nutty.

Outstanding: Totally captures the live music vibe........1998-12-04

This is easily one of the best live albums put out by a band in the "jam band" genre. "Snake Eyes," "Hellfire," "Driving West" all envoke a feeling of being in a smokey bar listening to five incredibly talented musicians play off each other. 10 years together has made this band as tight as any band you've ever heard.

Almost worth it.......1998-08-24

This album comes down to two songs that are REALLY good. "Driving West", and "Feel the Pressure" I feel these two songs are indicative of the musical and song writing potential within the band. So keep that in mind. But keep this in mind too: Driving West is one of the coolest rock songs you will hear...it's your call.

Simply amazing............2004-04-02

John McClellen, the lead singer for The Clintons, was just here at school tonight. He has such amazing talent, and is able to easily hold a crowd's attention, as well as keep them entertained. It is always fun to see just wonderful singers play live, even if it's just the lead singer. If ever given the opportunity to see The Clintons, or John, live, please go do it. You will not be disappointed.

I have never heard a band so full of energy or talent. After one listening, you will want to sing along to all the songs. I especially liked Friends with Benefits and You Don't Do It For Me Anymore. On a side note, if you ever get to see them in a live show, it is worth the effort!

The Clintons are continuing to progress as a rock band with the songs increasing in complexity. This band has a sound that is so versatile and unique, it does them injustice to be compared to Bare Naked Ladies, Blues Traveler, or even Dave Mathews. Tight rhythm section, with awesome base lines that lay the way to fantastic fronting musicians who really shine on the three part vocal harmonies. If you get a chance to see a show, don't pass it up, but be ready to get out your seat and jump around!
