Product Description
THORGEN's story started in Laon in March 1998, through ADX guitarist: he introduced Cyrille BAILLY (Guitar) to Marc DAZIN (Guitar) of the band KEOPS (Formerly KARCASS). The two musicians decided then to start a new musical adventure with Bernard LEGRAND (Bass), also a transfer from KEOPS. THORGEN was born from this fusion. Its track-list shows multiple influences: ADX, KILLERS, DREAM THEATER, Michael SCHENKER, PANTERA, METALLICA, JUDAS PRIEST... Answering the public's demands, THORGEN decided to record its first album "Heretic" in 2002, with its own means. This allowed the band to become more famous and to sign a distribution contract with the Brennus label. Three years later, the musicians release their second effort, called "Chemin Des Dames" (2005). The self-titled track, "Lingekopf" and "La Voie Sacrée" are intended as a tribute to the memory of the Poilus, the French soldiers who died in the east of the country during the First World War. Here is then a masterpiece of melodic heavy-metal that you should, under no circumstances, miss !
