Customer Reviews:
The Tornadoes without George White are not the Tornadoes.......2004-01-17
The Tornadoes releases post George White, their original sax player are just not the same band. Having seen and heard them many times in the early sixties and again in the nineties I can assure you, that Mr.White was the fire, the spirit and the spark plug that got the rest of the band fired up. Without him they just seem to be vapid and mere shells of the original band.
George, wherever you are, we miss you. You were always the driving force behind the band in any live performance.
Where's George White.......2000-02-29
This CD is allright but without the soulfull Sax playing of the origional sax player, George White, this band no longer has it. The groove, charisma and overall spirit is missing without Mr. White, who can be heard on the origional Bustin Surfboards release in the early 60's. Where's George! It's just not the Tornadoes withou him!
What a trip!.......1999-07-30
Your "Phantom" rendition is a perfect blend of a passion from a past era entertwined with a remarkable score which sears an everlasting place in my heart. Keep it up guys!
Great music from great times!.......1999-06-24
This music certainly takes you back to all the fun you had before you made the decision to become a responsible adult! Green Flash must have been written for a soul mate!
The best 90's surf music yet!.......1999-06-19
The "Green Flash" is so soothing ... it takes you to another level of 90's surf music. This should be on the top of any surf lover's sounds. Picture the sun setting and wait for the green flash to appear... it is wonderful.
