Why all the fuss? 121mercystreet understands the impact that music has on our culture. Music, coupled with video, is the tool that the Mercy Street band has a wide variety of expertise. In addition to music the speaking, teaching and worship leading skills that the band possess enable the group to work well in a variety of settings.

The BLACK Maxi-Single features music from our album Soul Candy. The release is an AVCD, or AudioVision Enhanced CD. This disc works in regular CD players, but also contains special enhanced multi-media content that can be viewed using most CD-ROM equipped computers!

On the audio portion of the disc the BLACK Maxi-Single contains two new studio recordings, including the singles Black and Out of Misery. Also included is a live unplugged recording of The Broken Hearted.

The enhanced portion of the disc includes a full length video, a live television interview, complete lyrics, MP3 versions of all songs on the disc, plus some special extras.

The full length video contains footage of the unplugged recording of The Broken Hearted intermixed with footage shot at events we've participated in over the last year. The video represents a "day in the life" of 121mercystreet. A live interview is included as well.

Lyrics from all the songs on the disc are included, as are MP3 versions of all audio on the disc.

In coordination with South Hills Assembly of God of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania we've created a special section on the enhanced portion of this disc that can be used as a witnessing tool. Answers are provided, as are the questions that spawned those answers, to address some very popular issues pondered by today's seeker.
