5 out of 5 stars The Hills Are Alive... With The Sound Of Riots.......2000-02-18

BWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Like another fan said, this music delivers. And, boy, does it deliver. Noise. Lots and lots of angry noise. This recording works.

5 out of 5 stars It could go for more than $25.......1999-02-09

I would pay more than the $25 for this CD if needed. Brilliant Techno/Punk. If you want some stuff just to jump up and down to or scream along with this is the album, check out their other stuff like Burn Berlin Burn too. Alec Empire, the bands frontman has a couple great solo albums too.

5 out of 5 stars devestatingly fast: riot sounds produce riots.......1998-11-12

This is a wonderful mixture of breakbeats, noise, distortion, and aggressive shouting. Not only is the music great but their political message is great and very abrasive. This CD is a vital part of my collection and ranks right up or surpases such great records as "It Takes a Nation of Millions to hold us back" by Public Enemy, "Staight outta Compton" by N.W.A. This music blows groups like "The Prodigy" right out of the water. This is FUTURE MUSIC!!!!

5 out of 5 stars A serious kick in the head for those who need one........1998-09-18

A great album. It's hard and fast. It crunches your brain and spits it out. A blend of so many beats and bass lines that there's something for everyone. Steal this album if you must.

5 out of 5 stars brilliant digital hardcore with a strikingly human feel.......1998-08-24

Atari Teenage Riot, disputably the leaders in digital hardcore creat a masterpeice with this CD. Strong and hard, one of the few CDs which can truly touch everyone. A modernday symphony of discord and pain.

4 out of 5 stars yummy.......2003-03-19

Anything alec empire touches, is gold...but i like this one the best out of everything...even his solo stuff.
it's so much fun, a world of hunting nazis, dead cyberspace, and deleting things...such as yourself. granted the beats are pretty dated by now, it being 2003 and all, but it all works out nicely. good times for everyone. go buy it, unless you hate children.

...you don't HATE children...do you?

5 out of 5 stars Voodoo Electric.......2002-11-23

The very first in their new genre of revolutionary hardcore head badgering!! This is probably ATR and Alec Empires most accessible album YET! Its a far more fun and upbeat experience than possibly anything else on DHR, and is the closest to mainstream dance music as your going to hear on the label. But that does not mean it is not very good! If there is such a thing as a modern classic in underground (whatever that means) urban electronic culture then this is it!!
I would buy this first before you dabble with the rest of Alec's output though, just to get a taste of the beautiful horrors to come!!!. Happy listenng...
