NYC's Aytobach Kreisor has been together since the winter of '98. Since their first self-released CD "Raised by Goats", Aytobach have been in the studio with both Tim O'Heir and Wharton Tiers. The fruits of the O'Heir sessions are included on last fall's "Rubric 01" Compilation. The Tiers studio efforts have resulted in a full length CD to be released this summer. Aytobach features Kenny's Dharmic (as in BOC's Buck) guitar stylings, the pummeling bass of Zito and Jeremy's hard hitting drumming. Together they transcend the genericism of much of today's stoner rock to blast the audience into a fist pumping frenzy. Aytobach have been gigging mostly in the hallowed halls that make up the club scene in the East Village: CBGBs, Continental, Meow Mix, the Mercury Lounge, Manitoba's, and various drunken parties have all been set ablaze from the thunderous hard rock that is Aytobach Kreisor. Various New England jaunts were followed by their first nationwide tour last summer, in support of UK band, the Alchemysts. What with the name?. It is in fact a take on the Beatles song "Paperback Writer," based upon Jeremy listening to a cab driver mistakenly singing along to the radio "dear sir or madam/will you bleed my hook/it took me years to kreis it/now take a look/it's based on a novel/by a man named Neer/and I need a job/so I want to be an AYTOBACH KREISOR." That day will forever live in the annals of hard rock history.
