Rockabilly songs, all about 50's cars, and Cadillacs & more!.......2004-05-08

This cd is just one of many exellent cd's from Germany's rockabilly specialty label BUFFALO BOP. This cd has 30 songs(Buffalo Bop always fills up thier cd's with at least 30 tracks), that have to do with 50's Cadillacs and Rocket 88's! Thier are familiar rockabilly artists liek Warren Smith(of Ubangi Stomp), and obscure rockabilly guys like Baker Knight. Also future rock'nroll stars like Bill Haley performing hillbilly bop! Highligjts of the 30 classic tracks(all of them gems) are an early Bill Haley & His Comets doing Rocket 88, complete with pedal steel guitar, very rockabilly, hillbilly bop sounding, also exellent versions of Uranium Rock bu Warren Smith, a jump blues rockabilly number with a horn section on Bring My cadillac Back by the great if now forgotten Baker Knight, and My Pink Cadillac by the hiccuping Hal Willis and a hilarious Convertible Car by Wally Hughes, plus several exellent versions of Pink Cadillac. Great cd, great rockabilly, and awesome jubject matter, classic cars!!! Purrfect music for cruising around in your classic car weather it be 60 Impala or 57 Cadi. Copue DeVille!
