Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Great Memories.......2006-03-01

This album came out in my college years, and it was played at every weekend party. I'm surprised to hear how well it stands up. Every song is hot. If you're a fan of the Dead, Allmans or Little Feat, you'll love the Radiators. Sadly this was their peak. Despite attending several live shows and purchasing subsequent releases, the high of listening to this bouncy and crisp gem was never eclipsed.

5 out of 5 stars A Must Have For Any Rads Fan.......2005-07-28

This album flows like Sgt. Peppers .. Every Song is great, I just wish they performed these songs live a lot more these days

3 out of 5 stars Lost but not forgotten.......2002-08-07

Lost this in a move a long time ago. Finally decided to reorder. Can't wiat for the mail. Fist Radiators I heard.

4 out of 5 stars Rads' best.......2001-02-25

Chock full of down home Nawlins gumbo and soul, this CD is far and away the best of the Rads' studio albums. "Like Dreamers Do" is a personal fave. See 'em live!

4 out of 5 stars You gotta move your..........1999-07-15

The Rads major label debut is still one of their high water marks. Some of their best songs and best grooves, with no duds or slow patches. If you like greasy, feel-good roots rock with a New Orleans twist, this here's your meat. Especially recommended for Little Feat fans, and although Lowell George still gets the nod over anyone in similar mercenary territory, the Rads are far, far better and more exciting than the post-Lowell feat. If you like this album (I'm a bit partial because this is the one that turned me on to the Rads long time ago) I recommend moving on to Total Evaporation, Live at the Great American, New Dark Ages, and Bucket of Fish, in approximately that order. If you're still jonesing, the other stuff available ain't too shabby either, and of course they've always been very generous with the live tapes so you can always cast out your line and do some live fishin'... But the point is this is the album to start with... Doctor, Doctor, Like Dreamers Do, and Suck the Head all got a good bit of radio play and certainly deserved it, and Holiday is a classic feel-good tune.
