this EP is one of the most beautiful illustrations of how music can progress from the boring format of modern chart dirge. There's a hypnotic feel about the music which is backed up by soothing harmonies. There experimental style adds depth to the underlying melodies and vocal mystery that seems influenced by UK childrens cartoon "willow the wisp" (hence the track "wisp"). I would highly recommend this EP to anyone who is appreciates bands who have the audacity to break the norm and although Simian are unlikely to make the charts - they possess extreme hidden talent that should get them far.

it's the best mini album u gonna hear in the near future... it's a sophisticated mix of pure electronica, traditional folk attitude and psychedelic way of thinking, straight from england. pay attention especially to "the wisp" and "grey".
