About the Artist
Sexual, primal, and pulsating; Quick Fix's brand of hard rock/metal is not what one would normally expect to hear from a Boston band. Often scorned by the town's critics and hailed as saviors by club-goers and radio, the group exudes a sensuality that is singular in the conservative city. In April 2000, when Quick Fix released their debut full-length CD, Get Yours (Man With A Gun Records) produced by Scott Riebling, the hometown response was explosive. Quick Fix performed for over 400 fans at their CD Release Party and glowing reviews and interviews were published. WBCN, WFNX and WAAF, Boston's three leading commercial rock radio stations, all hosted the band for live performances, and featured their single, "Rampage". Since then Quick Fix has been busy bringing their bombastic live show to sold out rooms and touring the Northeast. They have graced the covers of numerous magazines and web sites and their songs have been spun extensively on commercial rock radio and included on several compilations out of Boston and New York city.

Disney's Snow White, the world's first animated musical feature (1937), is still a standard in the industry. Though 1930s recording technology was primitive by today's standards, the Disney music studios have always used the available technology to its fullest, and this recording still stands up. The mature but hauntingly childlike Adriana Caselotti as Snow White is a unique vocal presence, and the songs include "Whistle While You Work," "Heigh-Ho," and "Some Day My Prince Will Come." When I was 6, I already had a very good sense of what is a fine music score. I'm 73 now and still loving that music.

One Song.......2006-02-19

I bought this album almost especially for the piece of music entitled "Special Sort Of Death." It does sound creepy but that's what I loved about it. From I saw the film I was like I have to have that.

Anyway another reason for me purchasing this album was the main titles for the film I love the ochestration. My favourite song on this album would have to be One Song followed by with A Smile and a Song.

And number 5 (a piece of music) I can't remember what it's called but it is creepy too the part that has snow white running through the woods.

Someday my prince will come is nice too. Adriana's voice is a little high and annoying sometimes though. But it's still nice to listen to. I listen to this album alot it's very nice and I like to listen to the version of One Song that is played at the end of the movie.

good soundtrack for halloween.......2005-07-14

first of all, i have seen the movie and the hag scares me very much. about the music,it's not good music for children because the orchestral moving creates dark suites. the other part of makin' pies is no exception. i listened to special sort of death on a site called mp3.com and the beginning is very disturbing almost, because it's when the queen appears as the old witch and she plots to destroy snow white

REMasterpiece!.......2003-01-21

This soundtrack is a perfect compliment to the film, and It's gloriously remastered to make you feel you are still watching and not just listening to the music from the movie itself.

In the liner notes I read the original soundtrack only consisted of five songs, the five songs we hear sung in the film. "One song/I'm Wishing", "Hi Ho", "The Yodeling Song", "Some day my prince will come", and "Whistle while you work". Over the years, the instrumental musical score was thrown in to create a wonderful masterpiece of a soundtrack.

I highly recommend purchasing this. If you like the music from the movie, you will love this. After hearing this for the first time(I've now heard it at least 100, thanks to my 2 yr. old), the movie is brought out to be more of a musical adventure as well as a wonderful story to be told.
This is my son's favorite c.d., and he has so much fun dancing and singing along.

A Magical, Delightful Soundtrack.......2002-10-07

This was the first of the newly remastered and expanded "Disney classic soundtracks" that I purchased for my collection, and it's still my favorite. How wonderful to have, not only the vocals from the old vinyl version ("I'm Wishing/One Song," "With a Smile and a Song," "Heigh-Ho," "Bluddle-Uddle-Um-Dum," "The Dwarfs' Yodel Song" (and if you don't want to get up and dance to it, there's something wrong with you!), and "Some Day My Prince Will Come"), but the background instrumentals from the track, never before available to the at-home audience. The "Queen Theme," the chilling "Far Into the Forest," and "I've Been Tricked" particularly bring scenes from the movie springing to mind. There are also two songtracks that were cut from the film print. If you're a Disney-lover, your collection must positively include this CD.

'Love Animal' was recorded between 1967 & 1968 at Vanguard Studios in NYC, the time of cult jazz-rock band The Free Spirits featuring Larry Coryell, Jim Pepper, Chris Hills, Columbus Baker and Bob Moses. Moses was 19 years old and 'Love Animal' was supposed to be his first solo album. It never came out for reasons he doesn't remember--perhaps having to do with his deep distrust of the music business. The young musicians were experimenting with powerful drugs and listening passionately to B.B. King, Robert Johnson, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Stones, Bob Dylan, The Band, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, Thelonius Monk , Bill Evans, Albert Ayler, Ornetter Coleman and many, many more. Just listen to how they express themselves under these influences.

The music is fun and well performed throughout... the lyrics are racy and funny at the same time. The art of the double entendre is not lost on Steamin' Schneeman. He is witty and knows how to get his pointy thing (no pun intended) across... I have listened to this cd over and over and have caught myself actually singing verses out loud in the car... I just wish I knew Mr. Hotdog when he was looking for those buns.....

I have been fortunate to attend one of their concerts, and the Steamin' Schneeman and the Screamin' Demons rock! This CD is a must have!

We ordered "Hot Dog and Bun" and thoroughly enjoyed the music. I was impressed particularly by the fact you can listen to each track over and over again. What a treat! Of note- Leonard Schneeman and his band, Screamin' Demons, plays regularly throughout Los Angeles, I saw him in Woodland Hills last year. They really have it going!

Hot Dog and Bun.......2003-05-01

The artist has captured the essence of the male compassion and desire for a sustained relationship with the female sex. His "Dylan" like voice is perfect for a song with the deep undertones this song possesses. The lead riff's are especially strong complementing the complexity that evolves as one becomes engrossed in the story that is being told.

With a strong band backing this artist I can't believe it will take long to see this one hit the charts.
