About the Artist
Dan Flores (Project D) grew up in Palm Springs, California, and moved to Ventura Ca to look for sex and rock n’ roll. He began fronting for a band called “Kneed” that began to make an impression on the music scene.One dark evening at the A&M Roadhouse in Oxnard, Ca. Dan quickly became friends with a band called Kitty Kat Stew. Soon after the show at the Roadhouse, Kneed’s drummer left the band, and Kitty Kat Stew’s drummer, Dan Cook (Deadbeat Danny) came knocking on Dan’s door, eager for a new project, and a new direction. With a whole new sound unfolding, Dan Cook suggested bringing in his good friend and fellow Kitty Kat Stew band mate, Dan Watson (Dr.D. Watson) into the rehearsal space for jam sessions, playing Lead guitar. Dan Watson brought a new sound to the band, that would bring Kneed one-step closer to becoming Force 4-D. The addition of Jay Sherlock (SubDann) on bass formed a union, a “Force” if you will, that would shape the band and guide them into a direction no one thought was possible. Thus Force 4-D was born. Force 4-D became quickly became the Sherman tank of metal in Ventura.
