Best of the Best.......2005-08-30

Having been a fan of Earl Klugh from the 80s, this is a welcome collection of favorites. His style and talent are incredible and I always look forward to more and more of his music. Hard to pick favorites on a "Best Of" CD, but would have to say "Midnight in San Juan" tops the list.

This man is a jazz classic and just gets better with the years!

Klugh is truly one of the great talents of our time. Here in one CD are many of his finest ... from Brazilian Stomp to For the Love of You.

This has all kinds of moods in it, from Movin' On to romantic and luscious Jo Ann's Song. It's upbeat, clear recording with excellent backup instrumentalists who perform at a high-level.

Wow! What a wonderful CD. As always, Earl Klugh is brilliant as he displays his talents on the keyboards, classical guitar, acoustic guitar, and mandolin. He is assisted beautifully by percussionist Paulinho DaCosta, George Benson guitarist, Harvey Mason DMX and drums, and many other renowned artists. I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this CD. If you like a cool, relaxed style of guitar music with beautiful accompaniment, treat yourself to this wonderful piece of music by Earl Klugh.

Some of the best Earl Klugh.......2001-12-16

As with most "best" collections, there are always some songs you'd replace with others you like even more (I guess that's what CD burners are for). This CD, nonetheless, has several goodies on it. "Tropical Legs" is a perfect example of Klugh going where he wants to and making a catchy, feel-good tune. "Calypso Getaway" is one of my favorite Klugh tunes because of its great melody, rhythm, percussion (compliments of Paulinho da Costa), and orchestration (by Johnny Mandel). Another great performance is James Taylor's "Long Ago and Far Away," which Klugh plays with tenderness and a sense of "longing." Klugh often gets the best musicians to work with him, and included here are Dave Grusin, Phil Upchurch, Ralph MacDonald, Steve Gadd, and Lee Ritenour.

Listen Up all, It is one thing to have the best track of an artist on an Album but when you have the very best tracks from one of the very best in the Jazz industry then i just have one thing to say " You Better recognise ". this is a must for any acoustic guitar fan.earl has come togather with some of his classics.the always smooth tropica legs,the beautifl angelina,and the classic wishful thinking from his second release. other earl klugh titles i suggest are sudden burst of energy,finger paintings,and crazy for you. ar klugh titles cassc wisful thinking from earls second release in 1976.

Earl Klugh is a very talented guitarist. This CD has some very Good Samba tunes that i know, only Earl Klugh can play.You'll love the Tracks in this CD, because they are all very Good. Earl is the Best Acoustic Guitarist i've ever Known.

I have been searching for a CD to replace a worn out tape of Earl Klugh's "Low Ride" and while I have not found that I have found two of my all time favorites: "Back In Central Park" and "Night Drive". I couldn't be happier. Try them.

This CD is a MUST HAVE for any Earl Klugh fan who's looking for any of
his harder to find tracks. "Doc" is my favorite cut on this CD. This tune is from his "Dream Come True" cd (Now out of print). There's other good tracks on hear too.

Doc, Magic in your Eyes, Heartstring,Crazy For You, Like A Lover,Dance with Me , Living Inside Your Love. And others.
