Beyond Definition.......2004-09-08
I'm mesmerized by Chango's music, particularly his masterpiece CD, "Chamamé Crudo", it's been some time that I've encountered such a undescribable, powerful, down to earth and invigorating sound, so distinctive and unique that it might just quite possibly be a new genre in the making, a fusion of traditional Chamamé, a folk-based music with a history dating back centuries with musical traditions of native Argentinean peoples, Spanish missionaries, and later European immigrants, echoed by a peculiar mixture of Scottishes, Jazz, Rock and Classical influences, just awesome.
