Instrumental Walks.......2005-09-13

If you're tired of rock riffs, pop girlies, boy bands, rough rap, and the rest of the radio dial, I recommend you try any of the Narada Collections. Vol 5 has a lot of multi-layered instrumental tracks that don't devolve into "snoozer music." The melodies walk with purpose -- they are up-beat without rushing your tempo and are easy on the ears. The instrumentals range from stylized piano of Kostia, David Lanz, and Wayne Gratz... the electronica of David Arkenstone (one of my personal favorite contemporary composers), acoustic guitar work of Eric Tingstad, etc. The styles range from classical to new age, jazzy to worldly. Enjoy!
