This is the most exciting performer I've heard in years. How often does one find an album where every single song is as good as the others? This is that rarity. Zydeco at it's very best. Popular American music at it's very best.

Zydeco? Heard it before, never paid too much attention. I saw her live last night at a small club called Blind Melon's in Pacific Beach, CA. I only had money for one of her cd's or I would've bought all five. Great lyrics, and a great band, including a 15 year old drummer.

Great, but better live........2000-08-01

I saw Rosie Ledet last week at Tipitina's, in New Orleans, and she was just fantastic! This CD is great, her music is very strong, but don't miss a chance of seeing her live. It's pure energy, a mix of African-American, French, and Lousianian cultures, with the right spice. Great lyrics. And too bad the pictures on the CD don't do justice to her.

This CD was such a huge hit back in 1997 here in Hawai`i. Her hit track, "1-4-3 Means I Love You," was TYTE! It was blastin' on the radio and recently I started listening to it once again. Her songs have the same feel to it, but having an artist from Hawai`i actually produce a CD is truly impressing. She's also part Asian, so HOLLA! Hahahah! Check this CD out if you can. Support artists and BUY cds! Don't burn them!
