I first heard and saw the video for this song while in Romania a couple years ago. I didn't get a chance to hear it again until early last year, but this is the song that turned me on to the Corrs. Watching the video, which was made during the recording of the song, you can see how much fun both groups had making the recording.

With the pop music, heavy metal and other "common" music these days, it's refreshing to listen to other kinds of music once in a while. " I Know My Love " is one tune that you will want to listen over and over again.

With the traditional irish touch, this song is delightful to the ears. It is lively and funny, performed by The Chieftians and The Corrs, this is one song you don't want to miss.

"I know my love" is a very traditional song. It's catchy. I highly recommend buying it whoever liked "Forgiven, not Forgotten".

This song captures that traditional Irish sound that made me fall in love with Forgiven, Not Forgotten. It's fun and fresh and has an upbeat sound. Although not written by the Corrs themselves, Andrea's beautiful voice completes what is a great partnership between the Corrs and the Cheiftains. It certainly proves that making great music is what the Corrs are all about.

Best of the best.......2006-08-20

Over the years the Chieftains have made a great many albums and the earliest in my opinion are the best. Of the earliest, 5 followed by 4 are superb. The highlights are many, they were in top form and hadn't discovered "concept" and "guest" albums yet. This is music of sublime beauty that repays repeated listening, give it a go, if you can find a copy! Why it has been allowed to drop out of print defies sense, whoever has the rights, get off your whatever and make it available again.
