i agree with shawn's comments about irene lamedica. she's without a doubt one great act..she's very soulful and funky...her album dolce intro is also great....my wife who speaks no italian...listens to irene lamedica more than i do now and i had the opportunity of living in italy and learning the language. so take it from us...she is great!!!

Visitor of Europe from the USA.......2000-12-07

I'm known for listening to r&b, jazz, blues and maybe a few rap artists (but very little "rap") and I must say that this artist has really got me wanting to see her live in concert. If you love these groups of music you will just die for this cd as well as her previous one. I can't wait to hear her next one. "Irene" if you ever read these comments, please e-mail me; Iwould be so happy to hear from you. I must admit, the lyrics are in the Italian language but it's worth every some. Hopefully one day she will come to the USA to perform. With out a doubt she'll be a hit -- rated #8,9 or 10 out of the top ten r&b/ soul performers. I know because I am definately a critic..........
