Album Description
If you can imagine Portishead, with more accsessible vocals, rich harmonies, classical style piano playing, gorgeous string sections and the most amazing beats ever programmed, then you have Daughter Darling. This project is the culmination of 6 years of beat production, the most talented piano, guitar and string players, a world class DJ battle champion and a girl who knew she was going to be a singer since 3 years old. Every song has been carefully crafted into a masterpiece.
Natalie's unique voice provides a strong basis for music that is dark and moody. The title track "Sweet Shadows" deals with her emotions of moving to a big city, feeling alone with only the shadows to guide her as she walks around seeing many "soul-less" people. Voodoo games, is about an ex-boyfriend who can't let go, and uses a voodoo doll to try and continue to keep his violent hold on her from afar.

Sarah McLachlan Meets Portishead.......2007-02-27
Sara McLachlan-esque breathy, ethereal, yet powerful vocals get a trip-hop spin from Daughter Darling, and it's a case of two great tastes that taste great together. DJ Infiniti's non-intrusive scratching raises the group's moody, folkish, Celtic-tinged singing and tunes from the list of Lachlan-wannabes and helps the group stake out territory of its own. However, the album is not so trip-hoppy that I think it would only appeal to fans of that unjustly overlooked subgenre; the voice and piano work are strong enough to carry the album even without the edge Infiniti provides. The album is consistent in quality all the way through, with numerous highlights, and is enjoyable enough to sustain repeated listens. But beware of listening too carefully: the quality of the music exceeds the quality of the lyrics, and you'll start to notice if you concentrate too hard. The best way to listen to this album is to lie back let it wash over you without reflecting on it too much. Let Daughter Darling hypnotize you. You'll get lost in this album and love it.
Quick P.S........2007-01-23
The first track on Sweet Shadows, Broken Bridge, was also used in the first episode of Bones, Season One - that's how I heard of it, though it took some internet research to track down Daughter Darling - glad I did!
notice how the people that give this bad reviews sound really pretentious & dumb..........2006-07-15
so dont trust them...all of these songs have a different make up (within the genre of course...there's not as much range as one song being gabber waltz & the other a sadcore country garage techno experiment...who would really wont that?)...the first six are great then the rest are all good as well but it's hard to stomach such a well-crafted cd all at once...might have to take a break, listen to something less interesting for a min. (i.e. lamb, nightmares on wax, k&d whatever whatever)
bottom line people!!!!
...this is the best american trip-hop outfit out right now!
Sweet Shadows Indeed!.......2006-05-10
Daughter Darling has missed the trip hop boat by about a decade. Still, the album doesn't seem dated, and being a fan of trip hop, I'm glad to see a group still out there producing original stuff in the genre. Sweet Shadows may actually be one of the better trip hop albums, as in it is more balanced. It's less depressing than Tricky, but less poppy than Olive. It's got a nice combination of dark melodies that are somewhat catchy, while not being over the top in either direction.
The whole album is quite good and coherent. It sets the tone with the opening chords and doesn't waiver too far from that place of calm, subdued and perhaps a bit sad. This type of music always somewhat borders on the sentimental, melodramatic, self-pitying pit fall, but they manage to skilfully hover the rim without falling in. Honestly I was a bit scared when I saw there was a cover of Dust in the Wind on the album, but somehow they pull it off and make you almost forget it was a Kansas song.
This is a great album if you actually enjoy a rainy day every once in a while. It is quite mesmerizing and hypnotic, but then of course it also runs into the danger of being repetitious. Perhaps it depends most upon your mood when you listen to it, as to what form it takes. Either way, it is definitely worth checking out! And just one more thing, the album title Sweet Shadows is perhaps the perfect description for the mood and tone of this album.
Must Have.......2006-04-11
I previewed this cd on amazon.com before I purchased it. It is such an AMAZING cd. I never heard of Daughter Darling before the amazon.com recommendation. You need to get this. The entire cd is amazing.

It's never quite let me go........2007-03-13
At a rather hip friend's insistence, I first heard this album in mid to late high school (circa 1995). Seeing as that those years were ground zero for teenage angst and all that comes with being hormonal, confused, and lovelorn, I seized onto this band with a fervor (right along with Mineral, Seam, and a few others). To this day, when I hear the opening bass chords and the swelling drums of the first song, I instinctively grit my teeth, get my rock face on, and prepare to air drum on my steering wheel. This is a powerful record, one that bends and weaves with a beautiful intensity throughout. The desperation of hardcore is still very much a presence in TITR's music, but it's bound tight with melody, memorable time signatures, and pop-savvy structures. Granted, Garrett's voice can drive people away from the band if they aren't willing to give it time (he's more than a tad nasal), but the songs stick with you.
Definitely an album to purchase if you're even momentarily interested in the mid-'90's tail end of the "emo/post hardcore" movement.
As for the guy who suggested that the EP was better than this full-length, don't believe it. Get this, and dig in.
Solid..............2005-06-24
First off this sounds nothing like current pop punk (ala--Green Day)like another reviewer has suggested. Muscially they sound like late 80,s early 90's Samiam and Jawbreaker, maybe even a little Crimpshrine thrown in as well. It's emo if you must place a silly tag on it but it is good none the less--tight,melodic and catchy.
One album I can't stop listening to........2005-06-08
This is my #1 album of all time. Hands down. I cannot be without this album for more than 1 week, and it's been out for 8 years. I love it so much that I've given away 5 copies of it to friends and relatives, and rebought it within a day or two every time. Don't miss out. Buy it now. NOW! Thank you for reading my review.
not relevant in 2005..........2005-03-27
back in the day i remember my friends babbling about this band called texas is the reason, but i never gave them a chance for some reason. so i did today, and i am extremely disappointed. someone said this band sounds like further seems forever and all those other new pop punk bands, but i would say it sounds like a high school band trying to sound like the current pop punk trend.the recording and production quality is considerably poor as well, dont waste your money kids...just turn mtv back on and let them make your music choices for you.
A Classic.......2004-06-20
This is perhaps one of the first emo bands that really started making an impact on the world (the first of course, nearly undoubtedly being, Sunny Day Real Estate). They have a very unique sound that has never been matched since they broke up. It is perhaps a good thing that they broke up, before they got extremely mainstream. Then they probably would've went downhill.
Their drummer has become a member of Jets to Brazil, one of the most praised bands in the music world, by not only emo fans but various others. Texas is the Reason is a very good, influential, unique band. This album is definitely top notch and worth a listen for anyone who can appreciate music.

I don't care what the last guy says..........2006-12-09
...this album, you must have it. Only dated by an unfortunate mention of Donkey Kong, the five guys from NY spew adolescent energy and human emotion. Is it ever bad to sing about unity?
Buy this AND Minor Threat's discography. But never, ever compare the two.
One of the best.......2006-07-22
Start Today is one of the best hardcore albums period. It had just the right amount of melody mixed with anger and positivity. Lyricly maybe not groundbreaking but they still did things a little different and a song like, Things We Say made kids think about the way they treat people. I found this album just a bit after it came out and was in high school and feeling like an outcast because I didn't think the same things as all the other kids and this was one of those albums that make you feel not so alone in the world. This album was like a breath of fresh air when it came out and for all the people that hate on it, there's a reason that this album was instrumental in introducing so many kids to hardcore. although I question some of their intentions these days i'm looking forward to seeing them on the reunion tour and finally getting the chance to pig pile and shout these songs. Highly reccomend it.
Amazing, Simply Amazing .......2005-08-30
I'd like to start by saying that in no way did Gorilla Biscuits contribute to the hardline mentality embraced by groups such as Earth Crisis...Gorilla Biscuits were always about being a positive and accepting group, straight edge or not, they respected the other people in the scene and embraced the idea that many lost sight with, UNITY...now onto the album..Start Today is the sophomore effort of Gorilla Biscuits and while they do stray away from their more metallic debut, Start Today is still an amazing album and is one of the staples in the history of hardcore...From the beginning horns of New Direction to the humorous end of "Gorilla Biscuits in your f***** head, one more chance and you'll be dead"...the album is completely consistent and is filled with catchy riffs, positive energy, and the delightful, youth voice of Anthony Civocelli...a great album, recommended for both veterans and new kids to the scene
This a lbum could change your life!!!!!!!!.......2005-08-28
If you catch this album at the right time in your life, it could change you forever...gorilla biscuits, showed integrity, kindness, honesty, and energy..........all the beautiful parts of being a teenager. This album opened up a whole new world for me,it made me proud to go against the grain rather than succumbing to the b**tch of peer pressure.
The guy who said this was happy, poppy,is totally missing the point and the feeling of this album....their is alot pain in this album...but pain that is reverted into positive energy for self development.
you will rarely here such honesty on a record again....rember this album was before posi core became a generic form of sxe...if you approach this album with youth crew/sxe /harcore prejudices your bigotedness will be yor own loss...
like 7 seconds, these peole really meant what they were saying then.!!!
One of the worst bands out of the Hardcore Punk scene.......2005-04-04
Gorilla Biscuts are happy, poppy, and positive. Those can be great qualities when you're in a pop or hippie band, but not when you're in a hardcore punk band. Also the strait-edge scene spawned one good band Minor Threat, and a hundred bad ones. It's groups like these guys and Earth Crisis that paved the way for the mob-mentality of the hardcore movement today. Forget this album, pick up "Complete Discography" by Minor Threat instead.

Joe Nichols's acclaimed 2002 debut was refreshingly free of artifice, brimming with honest, straightforward songs that put him in a rare position. Few critics' darlings deliver commercial success, but Nichols confounded that equation by delivering hit singles, formidable album sales, and three Grammies. His sophomore effort (again produced by Brent Rowan) mixes jovial, breezy honky-tonk ("Don't Ruin It for the Rest of Us" and "What's A Guy Gotta Do") with smart oldies picks: Gene Watson's 1979 hit "Farewell Party" and the title track, an obscure 1972 Waylon Jennings album cut. Nichols's evocative tableaus continue with a winning rendition of Iris DeMent's poignant "No Time to Cry." Poignancy, however, must be handled with care. It packs an emotional wallop when used sparingly, as it does on "If Nobody Believed in You." But too many similar tunes--"Things Like That (These Days)," for example--erode the impact. Nichols earned the right to strike out in more ambitious directions, and while nothing here is below par, he needn't have played it quite this safe. --Rich Kienzle
Customer Reviews:
A Revelation indeed.......2007-05-22
I knew from his debut cd Man with a memory that Joe Nichols had a great Country voice and delivered both up beat songs and ballads with a traditional feel.
But on his 2nd album he uses his voice almost as a sheer instument of poignancy.
Songs like "The Shade", "Singer in a Band", "I wish that Wasn't all" "If Nobody Believed in You" "Things like That These Days" and especially "Farewell Party" "Revelation" and Most of All "No Time to Cry", Joe takes me in like very few singers could ever hope to do.
His voice sounds poetic on these tracks.
And of course he delivers great uptempo modern country with "Don't ruin it for the rest of us" and "What's a Guy Gotta Do".
Great follow up.
Revelation-Joe Nichols.......2007-01-27
The only redeeming song on this disc is track 10...What's A Guy Gotta do. It's fun, upbeat, and a great dance track. The rest of the songs are slow paced and depressing.
Good album from a rising star........2005-07-07
Joe Nichols burst on to the national scene with 2002's Man with A Memory, and although I liked the singles released from that CD ("Brokenheartsville", "She Only Smokes When She Drinks"), I didn't buy it. Even the first single from this album was not impressive enough ("If Nobody Believed In You") to make me buy it.
The next song to come out was "Whats A Guy Gotta Do". That is the third best song on the album, but what spurred me to buy it in the first place was the realization that the title tune "Revelation" was indeed a cover of one of my all-time favorite Waylon Jennings gospel songs. (although theeditorial review by amazon.com calls it "obscure", I've been listening to it all my life) Nichols gives an impressive voice tyo the lyrics and proves to make the song as haunting as Jennings version.
Nichols also does a very good version of the Gene Watson tune "Farewell Party". Being a classic country fan, I like cover songs when they are done well as (or sometimes better than) the well-known versions.
Also good on this album is "Don't Ruin It For The Rest Of Us", a great honky-tonk style song. About the only song I didn't like at all was "I Wish That Wasn't All". Overall I like Nichols as a singer, but a little less melancholy and more upbeat songs would have earned a 5 star rating.
Easy Listening.......2005-06-05
When I first listened to Joe Nichols' Revelations my overall feeling was that it was a little average. But, upon listening to it again I quickly changed my mind. The songs tell great stories and are easy to listen to; not to mention how relaxing Nichol's deep voice is. He sounds great on all the tracks and mixes up the mood with more upbeat songs like Don't Ruin it for the Rest of Us and What's a Guy Gotta Do? A great CD to have for the ride home from work or school to help wind down.
Joe Nichols.......2004-08-12
This is the new Joe Nichols. He started his revalation with the video "if nobody belived in you". It was a good video but a little chezzy. Joe is a very good singer and he is one of my favorates.

My Fav. Hardcore group.......2006-10-27
This is a true original. I grew up listening to this in my bro's Jeep, tearing it up to this group. Allout mosh hardcore music, ruthless. Buy this! Every song is insane. Great Price to.
awesome.......2006-08-10
What really makes this disc resonate is reading the liner notes. Once you read about Mike Judge's crusade to send a pissed off message to the straight edge community that was dwindling and saw many of it's staple members leave the scene, you understand his frustration and appreciate the context that these songs were written in. Judge truly was a wake-up call to the straight edge scene, and crucial to the development of metallic harcore bands like Hatebreed, Terror, and Madball. As you learn from the liner notes, an unfortunate side effect of this new feat was a wave of violence at shows. Still, I'm glad Mike Judge was pissed enough to do this for the scene. The man, and the band, do not get enough credit for their influence, and every harcore fan should own this disc.
Buy it only if you don't have their CDs already.......2005-08-09
Judge was a groundbreaking hardcore band, taking the standard 87 style sound and coupling it with metal riffs and tempos years before the metalcore sound was prominent in the scene. If you've never heard the band before, or lost all your vinyl copies years ago, you should get this now.
However, if you already own the "Bringin It Down" CD and "The Storm," there's no need to get this. As far as I know, the recording isn't remastered, the unreleased song "Holding On" is already available on the Rev Rarities CD, and the main selling point, the inclusion of the "Chung King Can Suck It" LP (the original recording of "Bringin' It Down"), isn't worth it. The Chung King material may be good to listen to once, but isn't something I would find myself playing repeatedly. Actually, the biggest surprise is the sound quality of the Chung King LP. Despite the group's well-documented dissatisfaction with it, if you listen to contemporaneous hardcore albums like Bold's "Speak Out" or Misfits' "Earth AD" for comparison purposes, the sound really isn't that bad.
Finally, the layout leaves something to be desired. It's full of photos and has decent liner notes, but could have included more photos and art from the original releases, and the CD itself looks pretty bad: just a picture of a speaker or something with double-exposure of an image of an X-ed up hand on part of it ... something like that. I know the design won't matter to everyone, but if you're going to do a discography, memories and, subsequently, photos and images, become more important. Rev should've followed the example of similar CDs, such as Turning Point's discography, or Mad Parade's "Reissues" CD as far as including artwork from the past releases.
Overall, this is a great package, and it's nice to have everything in one place, but if you already have most of this, it's far from essential, and you should spend your money elsewhere.
You need this CD!.......2005-07-18
There is not a weak track on this CD. Judge where one of the best 'metal' sounding hardcore bands of the time. Tracks that stand out are Where it went, Bringin' it down and like you but realy, there is nothing you can say against any of the tracks on this CD. Even their cover of Warriors by Blitz is better than the original. The big bonus of this CD is that it is a complete discography of all of Judge's stuff so you need not get ripped off buying 'rare' albums on e-bay etc.
Nice little biography of the band also included along with some pointless pictures (well you have to complain about something)
Anyone who likes Sick of it All, Madball, Suicidal Tendencies (first 3 albums) or any late 80s hardcore needs to buy this CD.
A classic.

What jazz needs.......2006-12-28
In the 1960's there began what can only be described as a spiritual revolution among jazz musicians. Spearheaded by the likes of Coltrane, Yusef Lateef, Pharoah Saunders, etc. jazz became a means for social change and a vehicle for spiritual elightenment.
"Revelation" by Doug Carn was a lost masterpiece of this era. Apart from the top rate songwriting and musicianship, this recording demonstrates and evokes in the listener a joy and an elevation of the spirit and heart that is sadly lacking on most music.
Jazz musicians and audiences would do well to remember that this music means a triumph of the spirit and dignity of the human being over opression and despair. This cannot be accomplished by that trumpet player whose docility is being exploited by that large classical music venue in New York City; or the hoards of bebop nazis who think that the development of jazz ended in 1964.

Gotta love it.......2007-07-06
I never heard of these guys untill a year and half ago. I saw them open for Nonpoint and from the first note untill the last song I was hooked. I have about wore my CD out. They Cd is great but seeing them live is even better. Helluva nice bunch of guys!
Good, Solid Hard Rock.......2006-11-21
The Up Side: Revelation Theory sort of flew under my radar earlier this year when they released Selfish and Cold, so I'm a bit new to these guys, but if Truth Is Currency is any indication of what greatness this band will become, they've got a fan for life in me. Currency is refreshing hard rock in the vein of Staind and early Breaking Benjamin, a style that seems to have dropped off quite a bit in recent years. From Out Of Our Hands to Over The Line, RT packs 10 gems back to back for a pleasing 30+ minutes.
The Down Side: Currency is pretty short. A couple more songs would have rounded things out nicely. Also, one of my favorite RT songs, Far From Home, isn't on here!!
The Conclusion: Fans of Seether, Staind, Breaking Benjamin and Allele should find alot to enjoy on Truth Is Currency. Even casual rock/nu-metal fans can enjoy the singles, so what are you waiting for? GET IT!!!
Good on record, Greater live........2006-10-24
Saw this band on tour with Evanescence in Chicago. Props to the band for a hard show... honestly the live version is better than this recording, but a great record nonetheless. The band was also very dynamic, interacting with the crowd and were out front signing the CD's after the show... they are very fan oriented.
I'd give the CD a 4.5, but the live performance was a perfect 5 so I'll bump them up for the live show kudos. Going to be a hit when they go national headline.
No Revelations, Just A Solid Rock Album........2006-08-30
Take your first listen to Revelation Theory's debut, "Truth Is Currency" and you can conjure up countless bands to compare these guys to. If David Draiman of Disturbed mated with Alter Bridge's Myles Kennedy and fronted a band influenced by nothing but Staind and Seether, you would have Revelation Theory. It's true, this band is not covering any new bases. However, fans of the genre will find an album that is easy to pick up and listen to. Despite not being a very long effort at that, it is to the point and most importantly, just rocks.
There are ten songs on "Truth Is Currency." Eight of them are hard-rocking ear candy. Two of them are modern-rock ballads -- "Selfish And Cold" and "Over The Line." Since these are the two songs that step outside the boundaries, they are by defualt the best of the album. But on the whole, it's a solid listen. I wish I had more to say about it, but do the math. Ten songs plus a familair sound equals not much to say.
Disturbed Jr?.......2006-08-06
For some reason, as i listened to this album, I kept picutring David Drainman from Disturbed's less evil twin as the vocalist for this band. I also expected the singer to break out into the chorus of "Stupify" at any moment as well. Oh well. This band is pretty much like any other hard rock band out at the moment. The usual quite verse followed by a heavy chorus. Nothing new or to write home about.

Album Description
BBE Records is proud to release the full length album from Philly soul artist V entitled The Revelation Is Now Televised. The album features a guest appearance from platinum selling soul artist Jill Scott. Vâs album also features top quality production from the A Touch Of Jazz camp (DJ Jazzy Jeff, P. Smoovah, and others). The album features the tracks âHey Pretty Babyâ, âWould You Be Mineâ, and âAnotha Phaseâ.
Throughout the 90âs, V worked with various singers and producers (including Christopher Williams and James Poyser) as a back up singer. V eventually released is debut single âItâs Rainingâ which reached # 1 on the 9 at 9 Countdown on Philly commercial urban radio station Power 99 FM. This song caught the ears of DJ Jazzy Jeff who brought V into the A Touch Of Jazz production team for writing assignments on songs for Will Smith, Musiq Soulchild, and Justin Timberlake. As well under the ATOJ camp, V lended his vocals to numerous tracks on DJ Jazzy Jeffâs Magnificent album.
In the summer of 2005, V was on tour with Jill Scott and Erykah Badu for the Sugar Water Festival. With vocal comparisons to Marvin Gaye and Donny Hathaway, but with contemporary musical appeal, there is no doubt that V will appeal to soul and traditional R&B consumers alike.

This album is lava - underground and hot!.......2007-06-18
It's a shame that there isn't a mainstream show on TV or cable channel that profiles artists like this, short of BET J, and even then, there's only so many artists they can get past the program directors.
V is a phenomenal soul artist that deserves to be heard on mainstream radio. I hope more than a select few are fortunate enough to hear him. Less Omarion, Akon and the rest of that garbage and more artists like V, please. Thanks!
A LOST SOUL FOUND.......2007-01-26
NEVER HEARD OF THE BROTHER TOOK A CHANCE AND FOUND A TRUE WINNER! GREAT PHILLY SOUL ARTIST WITH REAL PASSION FOR HIS CRAFT,HE REMIND ME OF THE KING OF INDY SOUL (ERIC ROBERSON),THAT IS SAYING ALOT FOLKS! ERIC HAS USED THIS BROTHER ON HIS TRACKS.GOOD PRODUCTION (TOUCH OF JAZZ) AND LYRICS TO BOOT!BE SURE TO COLLECT THIS ONE IT WILL BE WORTH IT!
Very very good..........2006-05-28
This is an excellent CD. I'd never heard of this artist prior to buying the CD. I discovered it via the "customers who bought this, also bought..." section. After listening to the samples - which I loved - I ordered it. It really is excellent. His vocals really remind me of cross between Marvin Gaye and Musiq. I also love his melodies, his beats, and his vibe. (Oh, and that cover picture on the CD doesn't do him justice - pictures inside the CD reveal that the brotha is fine.) Hopefully this won't be the last we hear from him. And, Jill Scott's spoken word on track 8 is quintessentially Jill - really beautiful.
another one under the radar.......2006-03-25
as soon as i sampled this cd i knew i had to have it. its sad to me that good music doesn't count anymore. instead if you got marginal talent but have a song with a catchy hook that the radio can play 80,000 times in an hour then you get love. r&b is no longer r&b unless you have jadakiss on it. that's corny and overused. this guy and many others like him need to be pushed to the forefront and make the sub-standard talent step up their game and sing about something for once.
the music on this cd is smooth and soothing. the vibe is perfect for the ones who can appreciate real r&b without the chaos. i guarantee this one will go over just fine for anyone who gets it. its hot. trust me.
Great Cd.......2006-02-23
I have been playing this cd nonstop since I got it. I love his voice, nice and very soothing. Some extremely hot tracks on here...reminicent to Musiq. They are similar but different though....

Not the same Zack de la Rocha you're used to...but still awesome nonetheless.......2006-04-17
Before Zack de la Rocha conked heads with Tom Morello and created one of the greatest bands of all time, he was the frontman of a small hardcore band in California. They only released one studio record, and EP, and this is it.
This record crackles with intensity, right from the very first track. Zack's voice is not the same smooth rapper you year on RATM's stuff; here he goes all out and screams, yells, and even sings. The band is great is well, with a great guitar player though not quite as amazing as Tom Morello. Be warned though: this may be too intense for people not used to hardcore punk. But for a guy like me, I love it.
If you liked this, check out "Live At The Anthrax", the only other record Inside Out released.
Go Zack Go!.......2006-02-24
I'm very happy to listen this album...
For me Zack de la Rocha is the best singer and I like his job.
This Zack is very different by the Rager Zack, but he's angry too.
Very very nice album!
Buy it!
ONE OF THE GREATEST ALBUMS OF ALL TIME.......2004-03-16
I grew up listening to this and it has stayed with me forever.
This IS Hardcore. People who don't know what Hardcore is try to figure out if this is metal.... If there were a Hardcore hall of fame this would be one of the first albums and bands put in it. I met Vic, the guitar player, once at a Shelter show in Tampa. I still remember that night and the stage dives as one of the funnest nights I've ever had. If I were to consider getting a tattoo of a band. This would be it. No other band has ever gone down in history off of only one 7" like they did.
This is a kick in the mouth........2003-08-13
I cannot begin to express how these great bands knowing each other continues to impress me. Imagine looking through RevHQ (Revelation records: TX is the Reason; Quicksand; Youth of Today; Sick of it All; The Movielife), and seeing freaking Zach from RATM IN A HARDCORE BAND! I knew somehow that all this fits together, and trust me, even though Tom Morello isn't hear this record shreds. I LOVE IT! Rage is great; but if this band went on you'd have a heavy Tool with Zach's voice.
Breakout CA HC.......2003-03-26
I remember getting this 7" & being blown away. Nice production, crisp sound, musically great with good lyrics. This is to me probably the stand out band of the early '90s CA hardcore scene.
I never followed Zach over to RatM, mainly because they seemed to lack the passion in this recording. Its full of rage and anger, those needed ingredients for any real HC album.
Essential & historic. Pick it up just for those reasons.
