This CD contains some of Brazil's most masterful and highly acclaimed afro-brazilian entertainers. Guarenteed to transcend time and place and unite your spirit with the people of Bahia. Highly recommended for the variety of talent and voices throughout the album. A disc anyone with an appreciation for afoxe will cherish.

This may sound like ridiculous marketing but it's true: I just slap this disk on and you have a party. Nothing sexier ever recorded if you think rhythm and lusty singing is more romantic than slick ballads. Nothing more fun if you prefer sweaty, perfectly human drumming to soulless rhythm synths.
