Editorial Reviews
After two years of touring Canada and Brazil, Gaia (based in Montreal) releases their first commercially-available album. Eric Haroun's band of 15 musicians have "brazilianized" their music, infusing a certain latin feel to their Stevie Wonderesque style of hip funk, soul and R&B. This fantastic 5 track E.P. demonstrates that Gaia are on the verge of becoming a formidable band of new generation funk!

The best of Brazil from Montreal.......2004-01-21
I was astounded.
As a musician myself, the sound of those kids is so rich and so professional, I first though (as I was at the coat-check counter, when I couldn't see them) I was at a Jamiroquai surprise concert... for less than 10$...!!!
Of course it wasn't, but it give's you an idea of what it sounds like.
Next, everytime that I knew they where playing somewhere, I was there... Montreal Jazz Fest, St-Jean-Baptiste on St-Viateur, name it...
Waiting for they're next CD... and show...
Best band I know, and no, not 5 stars, but 1000 stars!!!
