Since I've become a Witch Ubaka Hill's music is one of my best discoveries!

Ubaka Rules!

Her drumming is amazing and the words to her songs speak powerfully to ALL womynkind! I especially like her Witchy songs. I've written a few poems inspired by her music and I simply have to dance or drum (or both at the same time) when I hear it!!!

I cannot reccomend this album and her other one enough. I just wish she'd make another one!!!

Ubaka does a wonderful job of mingling many styles of drumming, rhythm and song into an incredibly empowering and uplifting work. Her style is unique, creative and entertaining while provoking a deeper exploration of the role of feminine energy in our world today.
