A Great Disappointment.......2003-10-01

I am disappointed! This is not even a little close to the voice of Lumane Casimir in any way--very, very, very far from it. Lumane wouldn't have made an impact with such a raspy voice. In addition, the accompaniment does not evoque anything that could be compared to the typically Haitian sounds that complemented her clear and somehow piercing voice. This is not the type of sounds we knew when the great Lumane was singing. This CD is a dud. I am angry at this misrepresentation! And..so sorry I bought it. WHY NOT TRY TO REPRODUCE HER OWN RECORDINGS ON A CD?
