Product Description
Reggae Vision's Small Island Rasta gives you a wonderful mixture of roots reggae and calypso music with a little jazz influence thrown in to the mix here and there for good measure. Come Down rocks with a reggae beat; Small Island Blue beautifully evokes a Caribbean mood with an instrumental piece; Tiny Island may be speaking to a tourist or to an island man far from home; All Around the World unites us; Crazy House is where we live; U Never Listen to Mama is an anthem to maternal advise heard but not listened to; One More Try is powerful, life is to try, trying means exactly that; Time Will Heal is reggae poetry; Save the Land from greed and development; Role Model warns against false values; Ice Cream and Jello is a sweet treat; and Eyes of a Child asks how does a child see our chaotic adult world and reminds that if we regard the world with a child's innocence and love then we can begin to overcome the pain, fear and confusion in the world. Do we still look with child's eyes? This song is inspired by Gillie's love for his daughters, in whom he sees promising musical talent and the future of the world.
