Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Understandably Stubborn.......2006-03-05

I had the good fortune of stumbling across this album on accident. Shakka Zombie redefines a genre with musical compositions that actually sound composed instead of the superimposed compositions that win major awards based on sales to idiots that have no idea what music is and probably never will. They are artists in its rarest form, those willing to pursue their craft and create wonderful works of art with talent that remains for the most part unseen. With a mix of techno, hip hop, acid jazz and earth thrumming beats Shakka Zombie provides what has been lacking in music. I only speak passing Japanese and can barely understand what they're saying but in the end it's music and the way the music and vocals combine to form the finished product that matters and not the individual words sung. If you can understand the music then you already know the words. Take Beethoven for example. You know what the words are by listening. All in all a very enjoyable disc with a lot of replay value.
