Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Good Mix.......2004-01-05

A nice mix of different kinds of music coming out of Iceland. These guys could be the next Bjorks and Sigur ros's . I especially enjoyed Ampops tracks.

5 out of 5 stars Cool Concept.......2004-01-05

If you got a chance to see AROUND IN 80, you'll see how this album perfectly compliments the show. It highlights different underground music scenes from countries around the world.
The only show I've seen is ICELAND. The music is great, the bands are all very cool and have unique ways of making their music.
They are going to release a DVD of THE ICELAND EXPERIENCE in the spring 2004, which I'm looking forward to. Until Then I'm going to enjoy my CD.

5 out of 5 stars A Must Have!.......2003-06-26

If you are sick of listening to the same junk on the radio, this album is for you. It has a crazy range, from folk rock to electronica and all of it is uniquely great. It's my new "after work hangout cd" becuase it is relaxing and fun at the same time. It's also a perfect way to expose yourself to the new icelandic music scene that I hear is really taking off. I highly recommend this album!
