If (Sigur Ros) are the first Icelandic musicians you've heard of since Bjork...they won't be the last.
Product Description
Days Of Night : The Iceland Experience , features an eclectic mix of artists, including everything from Apparat's unique electro pop to The Funerals Americana country rock, that perfectly capture the Icelandic indie music revolution. This is the first in a series of albums that explore the international indie music scene. It is a companion peice to a 13 part documentary by filmmaker Elias Plagianos, "Around in 80". A TV show that travels the globe in one 80 day trip in search of new and interesting music.
The only show I've seen is ICELAND. The music is great, the bands are all very cool and have unique ways of making their music.
They are going to release a DVD of THE ICELAND EXPERIENCE in the spring 2004, which I'm looking forward to. Until Then I'm going to enjoy my CD.
